Is that how long will 'nuclear winter' will last after Yellowstone goes up?
I think the cascade fault that will destroy the Pacific Northwest is a more likely contender for our common doom.

Jason Beck says they're pulling the tarp off the field right now.

They could just be draining it, maybe getting some infield prep work in, before re-covering it right before the next cell arrives.

That 2nd cell moving in looks even bigger than the last. Hopefully it starts to fizzle out.

This is a mistake, IMO. Could have waited another 15 min to see what happens. They're going to get the field ready and it might come down again like last time.

This makes the most sense. But I don't really get the point in it. I don't think I've ever seen that happen either.

ESPN briefly showed a shot a minute ago that sure made it look like they were getting ready to roll it up, so I might be wrong. And that would indeed be a bad move, as you said.

Maybe the grounds crew doesn't have the internet. Or something.

i'm going to have to get up and turn off the radio. I'm getting stupider by the second just listening to Brian Chapman. If I wait too long i'm...i'm..going....to.....What was I saying?

Now the tarp is going back on.

I guess it doesn't hurt to try to get the field ready in case it fizzles out, but that's not happening so it goes back on.

Came here to check if anyone knew about when the tarp was coming off. Stayed to say: happy 60k posts, Yoda.

Luckily it's moving fast. Still think we'll start back up by 12ish.

Great contribution. Sorry, I like talking about weather.

Their back-benchers are really bad.

Or if not our common doom, at least my solo doom. Thanks for reminding me. Suddenly the outcome of this game, or whether the tarp is going on or going off or getting stuck tangled up, seems less critical to me now.

Or, the Talaban could get hold of a nuclear weapon and drop it on Vancouver. That's possible too. Have a nice evening!

The heavy stuff is gone. It should all be about over but the back end of the storm built up a bit so it'll be a little longer. Maybe it's light enough that they'll pull the tarp anyhow, hard to tell just looking at this.

If they don't get things started soon, the game could end up running against the AL curfew at 1 AM (they still have that, right?).
