2015 NBA Playoffs

Kyrie is the new KJ, spectacular at times when healthy but hurt when you seemingly need him most.

I think the Cavs are ripe to be swept and I'll drink my best bottle of red when it happens.

Will be interesting to see where the Cavs go from here if/when they lose. Their future is reliant on Kyrie being an elite player. But I see this going the way the D Rose situation is in Chicago.

Eh, Cavs didn't have much of a shot with Kyrie.

It was starting to slip away before he got hurt. And if you can't win when James has a game like that and GSW doesn't play that good, you probably are not winning.

I'm not sure how any team can ever count on Kyrie. Guy is always hurt.

They should have tried to trade him for Love instead of WIggins IMO

That would have been a very bold move. If Cleveland traded Kyrie and didn’t win a title with Wiggins right, Griffin would be trashed forever. The safe bet was to trade Wiggins and try to win right away.

However, it sure looks like Wiggins will be a very good player.

Absolutely. FTR I suggested it this summer, not just now because of Irving's injury or anything.

Game 1 Of NBA Finals Between Cavaliers And Warriors Highest-Rated Ever For ABC

It had all the makings of a classic series with NBA MVP Stephen Curry and the game’s premiere player LeBron James coming into Game 1 of the NBA Finals, and it didn’t disappoint. Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals, in which the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in an overtime thriller 108-100 pulled in a whopping 12.9 overnight national rating , making it the highest-rated NBA Finals Game 1 ever on ABC, according to Nielsen. The broadcast peaked with a 15.6 from 11:30 p.m.-11:45 p.m. ET.

To compare and contrast this NBA Finals Game 1 was up 24 percent from a 10.4 for last year’s Game 1 between the LeBron James led Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs.

I want to say 4 but I have to imagine James can win them one all by himself.

Isn't that what LBJ tried last night?

--11/28 (!!!) on isolation plays, 44 pts

--2/8 3s

--ZERO ORB

--ZERO BLK+STL

--unofficial NBA Finals record for crying for a foul/pulling refs aside and telling them he was fouled

Can't wait to see the entire series

Yes, and he will continue to do it.

But you have to imagine at least once, he doesn't take that 20 foot step back at the end of regulation. Or at least once he doesn't go scoreless the last 5-7 minutes of a game and the Cavs steal one.

Of course there is a flip side to that too. You have to figure the Warriors wont start out 4-19 or whatever it was last night. And the Cavs will be down double digits and it wont matter much what James does at the end of games.
