I'm surprised at how many Republicans are longing to get back to the business of rolling over and taking it for critics. The fight really has been bred out of people, I guess.

But go ahead and kick out the guy who is leading in the polls with somewhere between 20-30%, and one of the few guys that has a chance to appeal to independents. By all means toss the big meanie, don't bother to actually win over his supporters with political ideology or a vision for the country, because that would be dangerously close to what is required to win a general election. No wonder Republicans are lost at sea.

If you guys can't beat Trump in the primary stacked with republican voters without trying to kick him out of the process, how could you ever expect to beat Elmo in a general election?

Oh snap!

ftr...I think that is the first time I've ever said or posted...Oh snap.

So fight is defined as propensity to personally attack anyone who isn't nice? What political ideology or vision has Trump offered?

By the way, I am not a member of the Republican party.

I guess dead soldiers don't bother Republicans. If they did, they wouldn't vote for candidates who would eagerly engage in war at the behest of their corporate master. Rand Paul is the ONLY Republican candidate who I believe would stand up against a war with Iran and would have voted against the quagmire that was Iraq, were he an elected official at the time. Every other candidate is a neocon, one who'd march in lockstep with Dick Cheney and all of the other PNAC warmongers.

yep

I can't say dead soldiers don't bother Republicans. But they're definitely much more pro-war.

This is a pretty cheap shot.

iirc, Obama felt Afghanistan was the right war and he escalated and caused almost 2 to 1 American deaths under his watch. I could be way, WAY off on that, but that is my recollection.

I've criticized him on his troop surge there. But that pales in comparison to invading a country based off of lies and flimsy intelligence. A country that, as has been said a million and one times over, had NOTHING TO DO with the 9/11 terror attacks. The troop surge in Afghanistan, while misguided and wrong, doesn't compare to Bush's full scale invasion of another country that hadn't attacked us at the time.

So nice to have hindsight. Why didn't the Dems stop it?

WOULD invade Iraq again

Ben Carson

Bobby Jindal

Carly Fiornia

Chris Christie

Donald Trump

George Pataki

Jeb Bush

Jim Gilmore

John Kasich

Lindsay Graham

Marco Rubio

Mike Huckabee

Rick Perry

Rick Santorum

Scott Walker

Ted Cruz

WOULD NOT invade Iraq again

Rand Paul

that is what is so absolutely amazing. How can you be so dedicated to doubling down on total failure?

I mean, a few years after Vietnam you could hardly find anyone who didn't realize and admit it was a mistake.

They were wrong too. But almost every Republican, save Ron Paul, in both the bodies of Congress voted for it. Not nearly enough Democrats voted to stop it, that is true. It's why, among a million other reasons, Hillary should never sniff the White House. Anyone whose judgement is that grossly negligent and ill-informed should not be close to the White House.

Jeb Bush couldn't even answer the question about was invading Iraq the right decision or not, with hindsight to guide him. He fumbled over such an easy question for an entire week, even with hindsight as his guide.

So you say you've criticized Obama for Afghanistan and surge and deaths...So can you include Dems in the bolded statement?

Romney would have had this countries economy humming, imo.

Its always tough to be elected when 1 candidate says "We'll give you a check for everything, healthcare included and the other thinks hard work, investment, etc is the way out of this mess.

Peeps chose a free paycheck.
