Hillary/DWS's completely disproportionate response to what was likely a software error caused by the vendor has succeeded in turning this from a Bernie staffer slip-up to the Draconian tactics of the Clintons:

Why Did the DNC Let the Bernie-Hillary Tech Story Leak?

Even David Axelrod is criticizing the Clinton/DWS response.

Hard to believe people so high up the food chain have so little self-awareness. There was no reason to turn this into a national scandal, but Hillary did.

If you want to vote for Rubio then you might as well amend the Constitution and allow George W. Bush to run for a third time. Policy wise, he's the same as Bush on just about every issue. The only sensible Republican in the race, the only one different than everyone else and wouldn't give you a continuation of the Bush-era policies is Rand Paul. If you liked what happened during the Bush Presidency see, well then, I guess you'll be satisfied with a guy like Rubio.

I'm not sold on anybody. There are things I like about almost all of them, including Bernie Sanders if you can believe that, but there are also things I don't like about every candidate. I do know that if Trump wins the nomination, I will either abstain from voting for president or find a third party to vote for.

I enjoyed this particular bumper sticker from the guy's article...

Devious and clumsy are, after all, the hallmarks of the DWS era.

I'm sure Bernie is quite happy he covered for Hillary's email problems in that debate - she sure appreciated it.

I read about this a bit. I would "hope" the registered democrats take notice of this and run DWS out of the position, however that can be done. She has already ticked off the other candidates as I understand it; and has proven in the tank for Hillary. How in the hell can they call that giving the voters an honest vetting process to pick a candidate.

These kind of tricks are not exclusive to one party. I understand they can control the process, and basically elect who they want, but enough is enough.

No wonder people view these slime bastards with disgust.

I read that it was the Sanders staffer that found the breach and reported it. There is a petition out to try to get Bernie access to the voter file that has over 216k signatures already on moveon.org.

Got this in my email.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------*

Hi,*

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who heads the Democratic National Committee, undoubtedly made the call to suspend Bernie Sanders' access to the DNC's 50-state voter file in the wake of a software glitch that a Sanders staffer had previously reported on multiple occasions. With just 6 weeks to go before the Iowa caucuses and less than 2 months before the New Hampshire primary, the Sanders campaign needs this voter file more than ever to reach a maximum number of voters. Withholding access to this critical information at such a critical time for the campaign is equivalent to sabotage.*

That's why I signed a petition to Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chair, which says:

"We demand that DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz immediately reinstate the Bernie Sanders campaign's access to the DNC's 50-state voter file, which is crucial for voter outreach in the last weeks before the first Democratic caucuses. Shutting down Sanders' tools to reach voters is an infringement on democracy. "*

Will you sign the petition too? Click here to add your name:*

Thanks!*

I'm going to guess DNC will wait until the last minute when it's too late for the Sanders campaign to do much, then relent and claim purity of heart.

Mentioned this earlier, Charlie Christ had this rumor out there during the Senate campaign. Jeb's campaign is believed to be behind this now.

I knew somebody did. The website I read it on was kind of hokey looking, and had some links. I didn't go further as I don't really care. But it's a good idea because they can always blame it on Clinton. That's if you want to play the game this way.

Good.

I've read some stuff in other places where they think DWS is behind this, and it's rotten. IDK. I have read headlines Bernie has sued the DNC. Good. I read about the others running were not happy with her about other things. I think they should demand her to resign the post - not tomorrow - now.

I don't follow it that close but this stuff grinds my behind no matter what party does it.

Or, maybe this is how it's suppose to work. If that's the case, I don't see how that is suppose to represent the people.

Clinton's response is curious. It seems that team Clinton senses they are in a bigger fight than what it appears or this is some kind of positioning for her own email troubles that continue to simmer. Otherwise it's hard for me to understand why they think it's a good idea to go after Sanders, especially since he's been pretty gentle with her.

Yeah, it's difficult to understand, because outside of New Hampshire (where people are already pretty familiar with Bernie), Hillary is pretty much leading everywhere. Although I did see her losing in one Wisconsin poll.

There's no reason for her or DWS to be punching down at this point. It really is hard to understand. But like I said, total lack of self-awareness.

People have already been trying to do this even before this latest dust-up.

This is from 2014:

Dems turn on Wasserman Schultz - POLITICO

And this is from earlier this year:

http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2015/10/15/top-party-official-accuses-democratic-national-chairwoman-of-lying-questions-her-leadership/

FWIW, the Obama people really don't like her and pretty much don't even talk to her.

The DNC basically capitulated and resolved things right after Team Bernie filed that Federal lawsuit:

Bernie Sanders' Presidential Campaign Sues the DNC Over Clinton Data Breach - NBC News

The Sanders campaign reached a deal with the DNC regarding the lawsuit shortly before they were scheduled to appear before a judge at 11:00 p.m. ET Friday, Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver confirmed to NBC News. The DNC "capitulated," Weaver said, and will restore access to voter file as soon as tomorrow.

Hard to figure out what was to be gained from all that. Just another example of DWS incompetence.

Bush's third term would essentially be every candidate other than bernie, Paul, and I suppose trump. Obama has basically been bush on spending and foreign policy. #change

I'm for and would give 51% support for any candidate who tells me he won't just not close GTMO but would begin the trials of Khalid Shaykh Muhammed and the rest of the 9/11 conspirators immediately with the death penalty as the likely outcome for the scum.

I think you could say that about most of the GOP field but not sure you could say that about any of the Dems except Hillary because she's essentially a neo-neo-neo-con.
