See... when you say "I miss Fox Sports", that to me is a deal breaker. How are you going to watch Tigers/Red Wings?

Looks interesting. Would be good to hear a review or 2.

I've used it. It's ok, but far from the smoothest user experience.

For Tigers games, I had MLB TV last year and a little workaround for the blackout problem.

Honestly we have enjoyed listening to the Tigers on the radio. Much more able to multi-task too.

I have only bought the radio package for the tigers the last couple of years. I like being able to listen to the day games at work.

Honestly, I think that's a good way to sum up all TV. Much easier to multi-task if only listening. I routinely do yard work/walk dog/etc while listening to Tigers games as well.

I did live a couple years in college w/ no tv at all. It didn't impact my life much. I'd love to do it now.

Mr Melissa, is that hatred for pickles in your avatar? If so, I co-sign. I hate them.

Is there a site where one could watch reruns of past ball games? I see some on YouTube. I'm just looking for something to run on the laptop hooked to the tv to watch while on the treadmill. I'd like to get MLB.tv to watch the Tigers if I did drop the cable but I'm not sure if I'd watch it enough to justify it. MLB is the showstopper for me right now.

When my U-Verse got too pricey I went back to DISH Network (My son's girlfriend sells it). 2 year contract is about up & I'm paying as much now for DISH as I was for U-Verse. Thinking about switching back. I was considering going for a NETFLIX or HULU type of deal, but we're still milking along a 15 year old Zenith TV and I don't want to have to buy a new one until this one peters out. Not sure I can do the things I want with this old TV.

TVs are getting fairly inexpensive, as long as you don't want it to occupy a whole wall in your house.

Just curious if anyone in the Detroit area has signed up for Aereo. How much bandwidth do you need and is it worth it?
