Eh, Tatum is a nice player and they do have some similarities. But Tatum really struggled creating for others. He has the ball constantly and only averages 3 or 4 assists per game. That is bad.

Cade has the potential to be a 7 or 8 assist per game guy.

tatum also seems to have more ability to actually get by defenders, unlike cade.

No Cade or Hayes but a fun game nonetheless.

Garza is going to struggle on D, but I’m rooting for the guy. He has the passion and the skill on the offensive side. Can a Bill Laimbeer make it in today’s NBA?

Looks like Saben has been working on his three ball. You can tell he’s hunting that shot a bit in summer league. He struggles a bit with the turnovers, but I love his defense and speed.

Bey with an off shooting night from three, but always finds ways to contribute and be solid.

Any win against LA makes me happy.

I think Garza would have to improve quite a bit just to get to struggling status.  He is awful on defense.  Watching Quickley and Toppin abuse him in the PnR the other night was painful.

Poor kid was born about 30 years late.

Well, Olynyk is pretty bad as well and we don’t really have anyone else with size on the roster, so he might get his chance regardless. Sacrificing D for O seems to be the choice Weaver is making this off-season.

We’re going to struggle to protect the paint and clear the glass this season. Grant isn’t a great rebounder at the PF and Stew is solid but but still developing and a bit undersized against a lot of bigs in the NBA.

Jalen is just trolling and bitter about being #2.  He was born and raised in Fresno which is arguably the worst place to be from in the entire country.    Detroit is like Paris when compared to it.

I think people are overly negative about Garza's defense because he played for Iowa and I don't think Iowa spent any time in practice on defense.  He does not give up easy baskets.  Not saying he will be a plus defender but I think average is easily attainable.

No Cade, Bey or Hayes tonight.

I would like to see Hayes without Cade (and vice versa).  I know I have been hard on Hayes because I don't really see him a good fit with Cade but I was actually somewhat open minded about him before we got the #1 pick.  Bummer that they are both out at the same time.

Pickett taking Sekou’s spot out here.

Pickett is interesting.  He shot 37% from three on 4 attempts per game last year.  He also shot 39% on two's so that tells me his shot selection inside the arc is terrible.  For comparisons sake, Livers was 49% from two the last couple of years.

Saben looking like he’s really worked on that three ball.

I am on the Saben Lee bandwagon.   Love him as the spark plug for the second unit.
