Interesting that Izaac Pacheco is playing in the complex league on the team with Campos and Adinso Reyes. The Tigers have two teams in that complex league, and I didn't see another draft pick. Most are foreign players.

He's 18 and 3rd base is kinda blocked at every other level (tork, Workman, a couple of 19 high picks)

Timing wise...

Wentz may be able to slot in as a 5th starter next year.

Boyd = 4th starter.

Unless we do something like sign JV on a 1 year deal, then those two get pushed back one slot (Wentz to 6th starter at Toledo...).

Turnbull pitches next year but not till late, and that'll be rehab starts down in the minors.

Just a WAG... but I'm calling the rotation to start out the 2023 season to be Mize-Skubal-Turnbull-Manning-Wentz. Boyd is a FA after 2022 I think, or he's moved regardless... Elvin Rodriguez and Reese Olson will be at Toledo, maybe Faedo too unless he's moved to the BP... Jobe? Uncertain...

I am guessing it's already been mentioned in this thread but Kreidler's OPS has gone up every month this year.  I am getting more and more excited about him.  6 weeks in Toledo is not going to mean much for Greene or Torkelson as far as prospect rankings but I think Kreidler really has a chance to move up some lists if he performs well in Toledo.

Even though it is a fairly obvious move I think with Candelario blocking him, I was not sure if the Tigers were committed to Candelario at third or possibly would have even considered moving Candelario to first.  This tells me they are committed to Jeimer at third and I am happy about that.

On a related note:

Candelario took over the WAR lead this year for the Tigers with 2.8.

Then Schoop (2.5), Grossman (2.4), and Haase (2.1).

Impressions from watching Tork, Greene and Kreidler live at Toledo last night.  Tork's 0-4 was more impressive than it sounds...2 hard hit drives to center, 1 for a Sac Fly, both sounded great off the bat, sound play at 1st on 2 great throws from Paredes at 3rd.  Greene looked good against left handed pitching.  Kreidler with a Home Run and excellent play at short.  Looking forward to seeing more while they are here in Toledo through a long playoff run for the Mud Hens....

Your 2023 projection is reasonable, but Wentz as next year's #5 is aggressive. Not to mention concerns about innings limits and such that come with rookie pitchers
