Dustin Garneau.... also a Jumanji NPC name.   He'd be the guy who drives you the village where you meet the boss.

5-1 for the forces of Good.  Tigers put the World on notice that they are now a nuclear power.

back to bases loaded and the Phillies cry for mercy.   Joe Girardi declares the Philly camp an open city and the Tigers are given the right of prima nocte for any virgin lass in the neighboring villages.

So if a team is really getting crushed the manager can call off the inning?

All season.  it’s part of the wussification of MLB.  Mulligans are also given with really good excuses.

I haven't figured out how to limit Chrome's caching on a Mac (it's easy in Linux). I've seen the cache on the SO's MAC get up to several GB. That's more tracking than any org needs.

Consensus in the booth is W. Castro should have gone to 1st and they are letting H. Castro off the hook. But based on his history, non-chalanting plays on defense is generally H. Castro's biggest failure so I'm not confident they are correct that no other 2B would have been ready for that play.

BST, you made me remember a question.  Is the UK going to retain any semblance of EU privacy laws?

Benching Cabrera was controversial, but it is working.

It's only way to teach him how to hustle and take the game seriously.

https://www.mlb.com/network/shows/spring-training-games

It seems like the schedule goes only through Sunday March 7 games.  In seasons past, MLBN had the entirety of its spring training broadcast schedule ready to go before the first exhibition games were played.  I suspect part of the rationale might have to do with COVID and seeing how the teams/camps are faring.

Yes, because who in this country would want to watch a game the Tigers are playing in if they're not playing the Yankees?

Per Dan Dickerson and the roaring sound of the socially distanced crowd, I guess [insert prefix] man threw his beer at a police officer who wanted him to wear a mask in accordance with regulations and sanity.

He was invited to tell his beer-fueled story of "freedom" to those outside the stadium or a local magistrate.
