  1. Looking at the batted ball numbers, Tork is putting the ball in the air alot, but isn't hitting a lot of line drives. He's not striking out a whole lot, either. Greene is hitting the ball on the ground more often, and is hitting more line drives. He's also striking out at a 30% clip. https://www.fangraphs.com/players/spencer-torkelson/sa3014504/stats?position=1B/3B https://www.fangraphs.com/players/riley-greene/sa3010694/stats?position=OF
  2. Manuel Sequera had 3 solo HR's for Complex league team on Saturday, the third time this year he's had multiple HR's. He has 11 in 148 at bats, but his average is .243, and he's striking out at about 30%. He's a 6'1 176 lb ss, he was signed 2019, when Campos was signed. He's going to turn 19 in three weeks, so he's at an appropriate age for the league. https://www.fangraphs.com/players/manuel-sequera/sa3015179/stats?position=SS
  3. Interesting to me that the Tigers are playing Greene at RF, and Tork at 1b in Toledo. Wouldn't mind it if they both stayed there forever.
  4. 25 year old organizational type. Nice numbers, don't know about his stuff.
  5. He's playing SS only according to Fangraphs. He's the only draft pick from this year who's playing games that I could find. https://www.fangraphs.com/players/izaac-pacheco/sa3016969/stats?position=SS
  6. Interesting that Izaac Pacheco is playing in the complex league on the team with Campos and Adinso Reyes. The Tigers have two teams in that complex league, and I didn't see another draft pick. Most are foreign players. https://www.baseballamerica.com/players/110510/izaac-pacheco/
  7. He just turned 20 on Saturday. Good numbers, but need some extra base stuff.
  8. And next year, the best case scenario for the Tigers is if they can sign either Greene/Tork or both to contracts, like the White Sox did with Eloy. A 7 year deal for both would be cool.
  9. Kelenic, Trout, Judge, Vlad Jr, Arenado, are just a few of the top prospects who struggled out of the gate when brought up to the MLB.
  10. I think the struggles of most of the top prospects have alleviated some of the expectations.
  11. My wife had two lumpectomies. They didn't get it the first time, so they had to go and get it the 2nd. The dr also put in the port for the chemo during the 2nd surgery.
  12. Announced after the game that Petry would join him on the road for the rest of the season. Hope Jim is ok. I was at the game for pink out the park night. My wife has stage 1 breast cancer, and just had surgery for it. She'll have chemo and then radiation, we are expecting a full recovery.
  13. They can always move a SS to 2b, 3b, or OF (sorry Tork).
  14. The biggest problem with the Tigers is that Christian Santana is 17 and the future shortstop. I saw an article where Avila admitted they might need to get a SS in FA next year.
  15. And I hope they send Manning back down. He needs to be fixed.
  16. It takes money. Everybody knows the talent.
  17. I didn't know where to put this, but I lolled...
  18. This isn't a great draft to have the #1 pick. I like where the Wings are at, hoping for Eklund to fall to them.
  19. I went back to the roster, and the Lions have some depth at WR, although not ideal. Tyrell Williams Breshaud Perriman Damion Ratley Kalif Raymond Amon Ra St.Brown Geronimo Allison Victor Bolden Slo Azz Cephus Tom Kennedy
