Yeah! My Gary Gaetti hate is just melting away. I never cancelled mlb.tv. Let the games begin.

I'll predict 25-35

The whole thing will fall apart if more players start testing positive now that they're getting back together.

I believe the plan is to test all, quarantine any positive players, then the active players will live and play in a "bubble" so as to minimize chances of contacting cv19. Will be interesting. I hope it works because I'm now excited to watch some games. Watching The Fish that Saved Pittsburgh on a repeat loop is starting to wear on my mind

I think that’s a big reason for the taxi squad.  Will be important to have plenty of reserves at the ready.

I believe each team is going to train in their home city.  So Detroit, not Lakeland.  I could be wrong.

I've hear that also but I don't see how you can train effectively on one diamond. Heck our softball team took two to do a practice.

How many people are in your softball team?

I don't know how many players are allowed in camp but I hope they limit it to as few as possible. At least around the major league guys. I can see having them and select minor leaguers who could make the team train in Detroit with the rest in Lakeland.

MLBtraderumors is reporting yet NOTHING on MLB.com........ I hate life sometimes.

MLB.com is to the baseball owners/Commissioner as Fox News is to Republicans.  Or CNN to the Democrats.

Basically, everything is #FakeNews

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I don't know that I care much about the 2020 season after all of the back and forth between management and the union.  And with all of the COVID crap that has gone on and still not knowing exactly where that's headed, I wonder if a season should be attempted at this point in time anyway.  I can't lie and say I'll turn it off completely.  I suppose if the season does happen, I'll pay attention to it to some degree.  But I doubt I will be "scheduling my days around trying to follow the games" as much as I normally do.

I don't really care about this season and won't get too wrapped up in watching games, but it will be fun to have the game in the background and see box scores.

I do not care about the politics of a game.  I love watching the game.  I miss watching the game.  I simply do not care who is to blame or who is at fault.  They are treating it as a business, as owners I get that, as players...I feel a little sad about that, but FOR THEM.  To me it is still a game and a game I sorely miss.

I cannot wait to watch a game.

Last week I couldn't have cared less, but now I'm excited. I tend to like things askew, and I think this pseudo season is going to be very much off center.

I care more about how the "season" affects the minor league development and our future draft choices.  At this point, I don't know how I will follow those things.

now?

Torkelson nor Daniel Cabrera have signed. They’re both Scott Boras guys.
