Can't believe they have Adley number 1, I don't think I've seen anybody have him higher than 6th or 7th.

Here's the Top 100 Prospects list with the 20-80 ratings. I guess they like Rustchman's contact and power skills taken together.

Not a terrible idea. After all, they'd just be exchanging cold days in the spring for slightly less cold days in the fall. I'd bet the November games would be playoffs played at neutral or domed sites.

Here is a list of the owner's goals for the next six years:

Six years to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2014. Yay.

Yeah I read from another MLB writer(I think Rosenthal) that the plan is to atleast play the World Series at a neutral site pending on who makes it.   The good thing is that I think for most cold weather fan bases a dome is within driving distance so they could still potentially draw some big crowds.

MLB is planning on 29 players for the first few weeks or so of the season.  The Tigers currently have 28 players on their active roster, including 13 pitchers.  I would add John Schrieber to their roster, since he's already on the 40 man.

If they decide to go all 2006 on us, I'm cool with either road trip.

Obviously the White Sox would just go up the road to Milwaukee but I wonder if the Vikings new dome could be configured for baseball if the Twins end up winning the division?    Not that it's gonna happen but if for some unknown reason the Tigers do win it could Ford Field be converted to baseball?

Could you imagine under this scenario if somehow the Tigers did make the playoffs and the assigned neutral site would be the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome (if it were still around)?

Or, hey, let's take the proposed wildcard matchup picking process a little further.  This goofy made for TV thing this season could be to pick opponent and/or neutral site.

Add on another reason for the mistake of not putting on a dome at Comerica Park.

I don't think you can play a reasonable baseball game in any recent made for football stadium, one outfield  is going to be way too short. The closest it's been done is when the Dodgers played in the Coliseum, but the Coliseum was built for the Olympics and is a good bit wider than a built for football only stadium like FF. It had room for a track all the way round the outside of the FB field. But even with that it was only 251'(!) to the LF foul pole when the Dodgers played there. You could put in a false floor out to a level where you can make it bigger, but how much money is anyone going to be willing to spend?

If anyone is interested in watching Scherzer strike us out 20 times again, they are replaying the game from 2016 on MLB Network at 6 pm EST.

I had to knock it down to 25 for my roster so I could start the season I'm simming.

The team can suck partially and that's OK, but if they suck completely, it’s a fail.

Because the fence was as short as it was, they put up a net in LF that was 60 feet or so high because they did not want Babe Ruth's single season record to be broken that way.

Do you remember the Dodgers having an exhibition game there in 2008 for the 50th anniversary of the move from Brooklyn? They had had renovations at the Coliseum in the meantime, so the LF fence was only 201 feet away, and they got 115,000 fans in the stands for the game.

That's OK.  More home runs = $$$$
