I still say they don't play if it has to be in a bubble type situation.  Players aren't going to buy into that for an entire year.

I assume the season would be shortened by 2 months, but your point still stands.  That's still a long time in a bubble.

it wont be a bubble.  they might not have fans in the beginning in all venues but they'll play a regular schedule.  no more bubbles.

I just checked this reporter’s twitter feed and he appears to be one of the worst people on earth.

Second coach this week to leave a team.

Donovan was offered a contract.  I'm not convinced D'Antoni would have been offered one.

Such a Westbrook thing to do.

They owe him something like $41M, $43M, and $46M over the next three years.

LeBron laughing at him is priceless.

Westbrook was terrible in this game.  I'd rather have Blake than Westbrook.  I mean, Westbrook can't shoot, plays selfish, and doesn't play much defense anymore.

Harden wasn't much either, which is par for the course for Harden in a big game.

As much as I despise the Lakers, I'm so glad that Houston experiment got destroyed.

Now who's going to take down these Lakers?

I still say the Clippers can.  Which means Denver was just guaranteed to win game 7.

A bumpy flight home: Inside the breakup of Mike D’Antoni and the Rockets

Quote

The team packed the next morning before the afternoon flight that would take it back to Houston. All morning, D’Antoni was expecting a call from Fertitta, but sources say it never came. Before getting onto the plane, sources say D’Antoni’s mind was made up that he wouldn’t be seeking another contract with the Rockets — short or long-term —and would prefer to test the open market. D’Antoni then called LeGarie, sources said, and let him know of his wishes. D’Antoni told LeGarie to deliver the message while the team plane was in the air, sources said.

They tried to give him a one year extension worth $2.5M with a lot of incentives.  No wonder he left.  A new coach with zero experience is going to get an offer like that.
