I haven’t seen the breakdown per state.   But I know here in MN the state is also getting less.

On my side of things, we also will be getting less next week, but that was anticipated.   This week we got two trays (1950 doses),  next week we get one tray. We will make good use of them.

.......pure evil.

So my wife an ICU nurse had COVID 3 weeks ago (my daughter also got it but my son and I have mutagen from ninja turtles and never caught it) her hospital is still requiring her to receive the vaccine. Not sure what to think of that.

It's pretty obvious. They to implant her with a tracking device.

I was more worried about how it would damage her immune system. She works 16 hour shifts 3-4 days in a row. I would hope they would have some data on how someone fought it off would react to the vaccine......

Because we're not sure yet if you can't get it a second time and if they can bolster your immune system even more, then do it.

Bill Gates already knows where you are at all times anyway.   And he's going to force you into an update whether you want one or not.

Maddow’s program on Thursday night named numerous states, blue and red, that were getting 30% or so fewer vaccines this week than last week. Azar blamed Pfizer, suggesting production shortfalls, but Pfizer pushed back and confirmed the have many millions of doses sitting around waiting for shipping instructions from the federal government that they haven’t gotten.

The only motive I can think of is that the Trumps don’t want to reduce of rates of infections and deaths because that would help the Biden administration have an easier time of dealing with it, and they want Biden to fail at literally any cost. After all, it’s not the Trumps who are dying, so who cares, amirite?

24 hours out from the first shot: No side effects outside of the soreness at the injection site. My arm was really sore when I woke up this morning, much more so compared to the flu shot.  Got up, started moving around and took some Tylenol.  Still sore but not keeping me from doing anything. Just a minor inconvenience now.  Did my full workout without any issue.  My wife is two days out from her shot, arm soreness has dissipated.

That's good... I'm hearing similar things.  There's the usual BS at my wife's hospital.  A few have raised a stink because pharmacists got it before some people who actually see and go into the rooms of covid patients.

There was big noise out in Palo Alto because Stanford 'forgot' to include their house officers in the vaccination priority. Only took them a day to alter course but still got them a protest demonstration and a good chunk of bad press.

We had to move into our phase 1b priority, which included health administrators.  That is why I was able to get it.  We didn’t have enough front line workers to use all of our phase 1a allocation, still a good amount of hesitancy out there.  For reference, our phase 1a group included pharmacists, as they do have significant patient interaction in our system.  They also give most of the injections.  We will be moving into patient populations next week.

When Bill Gates forces an update down your throat, all you know for sure is that the new version isn't as good as the old one.

We had a big local stink when our large county hospital was left off the list altogether.  But as it turned out, a data processing error resulted in erroneous recording that it didn’t have the necessary freezer equipment.  I haven’t heard whether the problem was caused by local or federal issues, but it got sorted out quickly.   I am pretty sure a lot of reallocation had to be done last minute due to similar problems.

As things have played out I doubt Gates was even ever the worst of that lot. I've come to think Balmer was the real prince of darkness at MS. When I look at MS the only shift in their behavior I've ever discerned didn't happen until Ballmer left --though it would be just as easy to argue the market finally forced it on them.

Wife said she thinks its because the administrators within the system don't really recognize who does what and since her boss is off this week (she got to user her time off when others can't) she's not there to advocate for her department.... social workers are now getting it.  Some admin thinks "Therapy?  They don't see covid patients"

Donald will move you up the list for a $5000 "donation". And yes, I'm joking...sorta.

Here's another explainer that I found helpful, including a correction when he typed RNA instead of DNA

Yeah, that's what lead me to the video. That tweet thread is good, and funny, but it seems to explain it to Twitter simpletons. The video is a bit more fit for the sophisticated members of MTS. : )
