Good for Reggie, good for the Pistons.

I hope the Pistons give Bone some minutes to finish the year, and I hope Reggie joins a contender and plays meaningful playoff minutes.

The SVG Era is officially over.

Blake is still here. Not over yet.

Anyway, this is good for both parties. I had a feeling that this would happen after the All Star game so I'm glad it happened sooner than later.

Have to say that after the lack of motion last off-season I could not imagine both Drummond and Reggie being gone at this point. Then again, always easier to take it apart than put it back together. They haven't gotten anything for either of them that is going to do much in that direction - not that that was probably  ever in the cards.

Wooo!!!!  So glad to have Andre and Reggie gone...two of my least favorite players ever.  Even if this makes the team worse in the short term, it's absolutely worth it for the future upward trajectory of this organization.

If Reggie stays healthy and he doesn't try to do too much and just accepts his role he could be a valuable pickup for the Clippers, but of course those are two big ifs.

Reggie did fine in his new reduced role last year.  I expect that to continue now he has talent around him and a legit shot at a ring.

Yeah, this idea that Reggie refuses to be anything but a #1 should have been put to rest last year. He accepted his role, let Blake be the alpha and even turned into a stand-still SG when needed.

The guy has matured, he isn't thinking he is a #1 on a championship team anymore. And given his friendship with Paul George, the fact that he is unlikely to even be on the court in big moments and obvious reality that Kawhi is THE guy on that team, Reggie will do just fine with the Clips.

800K to get a legit shot at a ring and duck out of the Michigan winter a little early.

Bit of a miss by this front office not to trade him either last year or this year to even get a late second round pick.  But, dumping him now is better than waiting, so I'm glad he's gone and I don't have to watch him flailing around on defense anymore.

Now it's time to free Rose to go to LA or Philly and ride Brown/Bone for the remainder of the year at PG.  Let's fight for one of those top 3 lottery spots.

Even better.  I think he gave back the $800K because that is what his Clippers deal will be worth the rest of the year.
