So why does Cleveland want Drummond?

They're going nowhere. So they're probably fine with him leaving this summer for nothing. He gets a 30 game tryout then can decide if he wants to opt in. If he opts in, Cleveland has room and no desire to sign anybody this summer. They could possibly flip him next trade deadline as an expiring deal.

Why does my girlfriend date me?  Who cares as long as they do.

Should be a pretty decent second rounder. And the Pistons didn't have one this year.

Dre is gone. No more wild hook shots. No more wild drives to the basket. No more low energy games where he just doesn't bother to play. No more crazy dribbling the ball up the court. No more stupid *** fouls going for a crazy steal.

Goodbye, Dre. Please don't come back.

Hello C Wood!

They had the balls to pull it off, I'm in disbelief.

As I've said previously, the return doesn't matter so a 2nd (hopefully Cleveland's 2nd) is a bonus. This is about culture change, ridding of the old regime and preventing the opt in. I give them credit for pulling it off.

Hello C Wood!

I like we get a 30 game audition for Wood as a starter.

I'd love to get another second for Morris.

I wouldn't be surprised if Galloway is retained. He could be brought back this summer as a veteran presence off the bench.

The return is irrelevant. He needed to go.

The funny thing is that he went to one of the few situations that might be more dire than the Pistons, Does Cleveland really think they have a shot at signing him?

I gotta say, it would be kind of funny of he opts in and Cleveland gets a better return next year for his massive expiring contract. That would be a bit of a gut punch.

Oh my God. We basically just gave him away. Talk about absolutely no value.
