I’m not suggesting they rush Seider up at 18 but he is a probably a top 6 defenseman for the Wings right now.

The Blue Jackets' shot total is almost quadruple that of the Wings, 43-11, and the Wings are being shut out again with 7 minutes left in 3rd. But good news - it's only 1-0.

And I'll be in Boston tomorrow!  Just in time to turn on sports radio and hear them talking about...

Wings are 5-0 against the habs and bruins this season oddly enough

Maybe the Leafs-Wings can do a full roster swap at the trade deadline as the Leafs bid to get over their Bruins bugaboo.

Ericsson on waivers, have to imagine the teams are lining up to claim him

Vancouver fans were excited when they heard the news ... until it was specified that it wasn't Loui Eriksson.

Definitely, especially in Vancouver which is essentially a one-sport town. But even in Toronto, while the Raptors will draw big crowds in the stands and be the talk of the streets and schools, sports radio coverage is about 10:1 hockey to basketball.

An hour ago, before we went down to the pool at the Chateau Whistler, the Wings led New Jersey 1-0 after 2. But you can guess the rest ...
