The Impeachment Trial of Donald Trump

Even if he truly collects $1, it doesn't mean much to me.

Con men often loan or give money at the beginning of a con to engender trust up front with the aim of taking much, much more later.

That must be why he is donating his presidential salary.

Your naivete is stunning.

He makes that salary back via the secret service renting golf carts at his hotels protecting his fat ***

Yet he has no broad support, as most of it comes from large donors.

He has over $1 million and the next two combined have about $1.1 million with $575,000 coming from themselves. Langlois is almost entirely self funded.

Al Capone gave money and opened up soup kitchens.

A “White House Official” announced that Trump shot 38 under with 11 holes in one.

FWIW, not a bad golf swing at least judging by that picture

Oh...

But that's NOT exactly what he ISN'T doing... right?

I mean, he is NOT donating his Presidential salary (money that never hit his pockets to begin with...) in order to COVER-UP his malfeasance, his corrupt business practices, his attempts to eliminate the prohibition against bribes, the corrupt foreign and domestic influences that are pouring corrupt money into his properties in order to gain influence over his policies... right?

(Not you Biggs, anyone can answer...)

He CAN'T be doing that because that's what he accused Hillary of doing.

And he would NEVER stoop to corrupt grifting of that nature because...

Because...

Because...

Because...

Stan?

It's not naivete.

Stan has chosen to bury his head up Trump's ***, like every other Trumpublican.

It's a choice Lee, not naivete.

I was a huge fan of the original BBC series and didn't pick up on BYOT because of the distance of time since I saw the series.

Thank you.

Thank you.

I became a fan of the BBC radio series back in the early 80’s. I was running control board on weekends at an NPR station. So I was a bit of a hostage. The radio series tops them all

WTF are you guys talking about...?

Gen X geek culture.  Not the re-appropriated lovable Dungeons and Dragons of Stranger Things but the less accessible nerdiness of a Sci Fi series turned into what was at the time a really cool VHS-era BBC series.  That technology looks laughable now.   At the time it was really cool looking.   All the bong hitting intellectuals in my school were into it.

Bladerunner looks dated now as well in places. Those green screens...

The original TV series would probably have been made on a budget far less than even a dodgy Doctor Who serial set in a sand quarry in Dorset.
