You would be surprised.

Based on what I hear from media members, I would be surprised.

I'm mostly talking about the gambling community.  Those people need to be right about players where media members usually just need to generate clicks.

Funny I see this clip 10 minutes after saying I don't respect the media.

I guess technically he's right.  The Lakers should do that.  Why the **** Phoenix would do it is another story.

They are right about Wins and Losses. That doesn't necessarily tell you about an individual player's value.

Tatum is out tonight for Boston.

We are 4 more starters away from losing our second consecutive game to a team without its entire starting 5.

I mean, this team has a starting 5 without 3 of its best players as well.

I'm happy for Derrick Rose...hopefully we can find him a nice team to make a run at a title.

Sekou 24 points on 10-13 shooting...probably his best scoring game as a pro.

I guarantee you there are many Piston fans who moved for one reason or other that still watch the games (if possible) and care. There's even a Detroit sports bar in Las Vegas. If it's still in business. : (

Sekou just turned 19 years old a month ago. Here is what he is averaging over his first 7 starts in the NBA:

12.6 PPG / 5.7 RPG on a 50/41/75 split in 30 MPG

He has been scoring from 3, on the fast break, off the dribble, in post-ups and moving well without the ball. I have to say, I did not think he was going to look this good early on.

I think the Pistons may have found a cornerstone player in Sekou. May not has the #1 option to lead you to a title, but I can see him being one of the best young players in the NBA very soon.

He's at least keeping me watching this year.  I'm intrigued to see what he becomes.

He defends and rebounds, too. He is bursting with potential. Casey is known as a very good player development coach. It appears the Pistons may have really found something.

Now go get a top pick this year and see what you can do.

Yep...this draft pick becomes even more important if Sekou continues this trajectory and fulfills our hope for him.  This is going to be our chance to get a guy to pair with him from the draft.  If Sekou was just another Austin Daye, I wouldn't feel so bad about blowing another draft pick because what's another 10 years in NBA purgatory?  But it does not appear that is going to be the case.

Rose with another solid game, it amazes me that a contender wouldn't be in on him.  Who knows maybe they have been inquiring about him and the Pistons are asking too much or maybe they are just afraid that he is due for an injury but as of now he seems like he'd be just the player I would try to go after if I was a contender.

This game goes contrary to what they should be doing, but damn it if it isn't fun to win in Boston.

I don't want to say that Rose has higher trade value than Drummond, but given the contracts, I think Rose might have more value than we think and Drummond might have less value than we think/hope.

Heck, there's a whole Detroit themed casino in Las Vegas.  I bet that's where @mickeyb105 is.  Damn I miss his Vegas stories.

I have a feeling that the Pistons might want to keep him around to mentor the young players. By all accounts, he's a great locker room guy. I'm sure if a contender (Lakers seem like a good fit) offered a 1st that they'd jump on it but as well as he's played, I still don't see any team offering that.

Not sure how many better PGs are on the market. He might just yield a good return.

He's also the first player named Sekou Doumbouya to do it.

He's French.

Larry Bird is from French Lick.

Coincidence?
