19 million for Hardaway in 2020/2021 is rough, but it would free us from signing Andre long-term. And it would bring back Boban!

Moving forward you'd have this team, but with some cap space to improve. Baynes would be a nice fit at center for half the price of Drummond.

Brown, Rose, Bone

Kennard, Hardaway, Thomas

Snell, Svi, Thomas

Griffin, Morris, Sekou

Wood, Boban

I just don't see Gores moving Andre.

I could see Dallas wanting to go all-in and taking the short-term shot on Andre. Cuban is a guy who prefers players over draft picks, and if Blake is out/the Pistons are dead in the water a trade that sends Andre for multiple draft picks, a young rotation player (Brunson) and a slightly longer bad contract (THJ) could be worth it.

Thing is.  Dallas has done a smart rebuild so far.  I find it hard to believer they are going to make a 90 degree turn into stupidity and trade for Drummond.

Dallas has tried to chase big names and failed. Their slower re-build with lesser known guys was more on accident IMO.

they could also see andre's natural tools and think "we can fix him and make him tyson chandler."

problem with dallas is that they dont have anymore first round picks, right?

They have this years and 2022 first round pick.  They can't trade the 2022 pick.

Yeah, they might have some different faces in the front office, but keep in mind Dallas chased Dwight Howard & Deandre Jordan for years. They aren't exact comparisons to Andre but Dallas has a history of chasing guys similar to Andre.

Also, it seems that Dallas can't trade their 2020 pick, and don't have a 2021 pick. So you'd be looking at a 2022 selection.

You have the picks backwards.  They can trade this years, not the 2022.

The article is 7 months old, before this years draft.  At the time they couldn't trade it.  Once the draft is over they were free to trade it.

Ah, got you, Thanks.

The Wizards just love playing against the Pistons. They’re 11/13 from the floor. Just getting whatever they want. Can’t miss a shot, pathetic defense

Pistons look well on their way to yet another terrible loss to a terrible team. 0-2 against the Bulls. 0-2 against the Wizards. 0-3 against the Hornets.

Washington goes for 43 points IN THE FIRST QUARTER. They shoot an increíble 16/20!!! 3/3 from distance.

The Wizards just love playing the Pistons.

To be fair, most of the league loves playing the Pistons.
