Chiefs @ Lions

Recommended Posts

I’ve got Chiefs 45 - 16.   Lions TD comes late in garbage time in a game that is essentially over by halftime.

If we score (big “if”), does Patricia dare try to steal a possession with an onside kick?

If the Lions win the toss, take the ball please. I'm not a fan of giving an explosive offense any more possessions than necessary. But the 2nd half.... yeah, once we're behind by 30 points.

Word is Stafford will start.

Who's the back up? And if Stafford and the back up get hurt or are ineffective,  who's the 3rd string QB?

This is a game that will be tough to win considering we are playing the best offense, without our top CB and a hobbled Stafford.

Go out there and compete.

i think the lions will keep it close for a while and then succumb to the chiefs.

31-21 chiefs.

but i hope im wrong.  if they can beat the chiefs, they can beat anybody.

This tie really throws a monkey wrench into things. Typically, losing to an AFC opponent wouldn't be the worst thing but the chance of the Lions tying someone in the standings are remote so tiebreakers don't matter.

Clearly someone hasn't seen our record.

I agree,  beating this team would be very impressive. Even keeping it close would be remarkable.  The Lions need to be able to run the ball and use the clock to have any chance. If it's a shootout, we lose. Holding K.C. under 30 points will be a challenge.

Bevell strikes again.  Go super conservative inside the 10 and lions have to go for the FG.  Horrible play calling.
