Ladies and gentlemen, the End Times have arrived.

well, the 'end times' for this Rawlings baseball certainly need to come, and soon.

It is hard to feel optimistic about this series but there’s times when the team rises to the occasion and surprises me in such circumstances. Hopefully I haven’t hexed the possibility of that happening by mentioning it.

It’s like I’m a genius or something.

This whole thing is an embarrassment to the dignity of the game.

Hope the team had the champagne on ice cause with the win they just passed the 03 Tigers!

Check that they still need 1 more win so have it ready for tomorrow!

they need to be careful though, they've gained 3 games on Baltimore in the last 10!

Do we ever talk about how the new ball changes the game beyond  HR's? Do singles become outs? Outs become doubles? I'm too lazy to look that stuff up...

England beat Kosovo 5-3 in Euro 2020 qualifiers today. That's the soccer equivalent of a 13-8 score.

More from around the league...

As of today:

Bruce Bochy has managed from 1995-2019.

His current managerial record is 1995-2019.

Just plunk Brett Gardner.   Just because he's a jackass.

Thought that ever since he took out Guillen's knee.

Brett Gardner does have a pretty punchable face,  on a scale of 1 to Billy Butler I would probably put him at a solid 8 in terms of punchability.

That's crazy! Sort of like Musial having 1815 hits at home and 1815 hits on the road

why didn't they challenge?  If all we are doing is accumulating stats...you'd think a Miggy Hr would matter.

I just watched the highlights, and that was definitely a HR. Strange that they wouldn't challenge, especially given the score at the time.

I tell you, Gardenhire and his crew just go to sleep during the game sometimes. This has to be 4th or 5th time this season something happened where all you could do was look in the dugout and think "lights on, nobody home."

The players were fired up. They destroyed Johnny Kane’s  microphone when they dumped water on him.

Wanna hear something that doubles down on the strange?

As of this morning, since 1995, the Seattle Mariners are 1995-2019.
