Matt's out here trying to contribute to the rebuild in two different ways at once. Raising the trade value and helping the tank.

So far doing a credible job.

Well time to pull Boyd. 6 innings, 2 runs (on a good pitcher homer) and a W. Trade value won't get higher.

Agree.... Sell off best they can and continue the tank the remainder of this year.

Harold Castro now batting 290.

I like Castro's approach at the plate.  He seems to have a 'plan' instead of simply swinging wildly.  Not exact ..but his approach and stance reminds me a little bit of Norm Cash.

O'sMMV

and no Account guy jokes, please.  I was  one for 17 years before I went to the Dark(er) Side.

“What else” was shorthand for, “But of course he was. What else could he have been?”

As a media guy, I have definite opinions about account people. 😁

Without the power of course. Agree with your sentiments though.

Darker side? You mean media sales? Or are you a client now?

IIRC McCann's stance was not so open last year.

OOPS - Boyd burning up his value again...8-4

Miguel picked up his front foot on that one and there it went.

A double and dinger for ole singelo will help the OPS

Me too.  Not impressed with that defense there.

I have heard that it often takes 1 to 1 1/2 years for a person to fully recover from surgery for a biceps tear like Miggy had.

If true ..can we look forward to steady increased power from Miggy as this progresses?

IDK, unless the issue with his arm is causing him to use his lower body differently, which I suppose is possible, it looks more like what has limited his power is his lack of hip rotation on most of his swings. I guess the assumption has been that is because the back knee hurts and he isn't driving off of it. But Miguel has so many issues at this point that maybe one thing is connected to another. He clearly has not lost his hitter's vision yet, so if the body cooperates he can still be productive.

I'm so glad to see the White pox get beat up bad. Does this come from some deep dark place in the soul or am I the only one?

Good jump by Stewart. Of course the ball hit that far to your side is easiest to judge (not easiest to catch - just to see) so he should have.
