Again, let's take a moment to think about how, 45 days out, $1 billion + from the Death Star has led to a candidate down 7-8 nationally and a polling error away from losing Texas. And losing the money battle down the stretch.

Let's take a moment to think about how Joe Biden, who lost badly in Iowa and New Hampshire and was broke, now has more than the billion dollar Death Star.

They aren't going to pass up on a 6-3 advantage in the court.

That is such a huge, long lasting advantage and fits right into the playbook.  Shoot, it would almost be political malpractice not to pursue it.

How many people claim to have voted for Trump to shape the court?

I heard an argument this weekend that Trump should simply name who he plans on nominating should he win and use that as a rallying cry to get all the anti-trump republicans to find a reason to vote for him, but ultimately, I think you're right.  Republicans sold their soul for this, they will go for it.  Plus, they are looking at what happened with Garland and will see the error of the democrats with that.

Just to note, for every Lindsay Graham quote you'll see saying a Supreme Court nominee should not be put up in a primary year, you'll find every democrat that was around 4 years ago on record saying that it's a shame the republicans won't put Garland up for a vote and tout how the constitution calls for the president to nominate if there is a vacancy, nothing about waiting for the next president.

Can't help but notice some of the longest delays are in Miami, Philadelphia, Milwaukee and Detroit, all democratic cities in crucial swing states.

as I said last week...I had to drive from Dearborn to Madison Heights to get a Biden/Harris sign from the Oakland County dems.  I had to do some serious digging and it was only because I saw a random tweet about their event that someone else tweeted.  If I didn't see that I wouldn't have had a chance. They gave me 2 and a neighbor was excited when I told them I had another.

It shouldn't be hard.  It should take you two searches to get a sign.   I want to support but like being in a bar and I'm at a table...  if I have to walk up to the bar to ask for another beer.... that's bad.  Don't make me ask you to give you something.

In retrospect, when our children's children are wondering "what was a Constitutional Republic" or what was Trumpia called before HE was born, they will highlight the Michigan Democratic Party's inability to distribute signs as the leading cause.

If they dare speak those questions they will be reminded by the block chairman that Trump was fore ordained and was not of woman born but was sent from the Stargods for whom his people were made in days of yore.   Also, young Trumpstock, you should eat more of your Hydrochloroquin stew and say thirteen "lock her ups" for penance.  If you don't you'll have to eat from the tacotrucks which lurk on the outskirts of suburbia waiting to capture bad children to take them Chicago or Mexico.

I'm guessing they looked at license plates.  edit...this guy's other posts appear to be sarcasm.  Take with grain of salt.

Re. Maine

All the discussion about Paul Le Page over the weekend aside, the Democrats made larger gains in the North during the 2018 Midterms and, based on polling, appear to be on pace to increase their margins compared to 2016 in the North this time around too.

The Maryland panhandle is pretty red ( They think like West Virginians). The burbs south of the I66 corridor also bleed Trump and is close enough to Fairfax.
