I would prefer that they threw similar words as the local reports into their own html

I am sure the Midland Daily News covered that rally with exquisite skill, I'm just sad I'm not around to deliver it to my neighborhood anymore

The Churchill comparisons Trump has been enjoying from his fawning sycophants are missing an actual appreciation for the entire character of Churchill's leadership.

The more WWII documentaries I watch, the more Trump reminds me of Hitler. The similarities in personality and leadership are striking. There are some differences. Hitler was more intelligent, fought for his country, and hated Russia.

Closer to Churchill

He didn't throw paper towels.  He didn't have his wife didn't walk through the rubble in a jacket with "I don't care" on the back.

His goal as President, and every other president until now, was to serve the people.

Trump's goal is personal enrichment and pride.

He just needed Obama to take out Bin Laden after a decade long search for WMDs that never existed.

Dick Cheney's goal was to invade Iraq from Day 1 of the Bush Administration and gain lucrative contracts for an energy company, Halliburton, that he and those he was associated with had a vested financial interest in. Trump is an awful human being, but let's not white wash history and pretend the Bush Administration was something it wasn't. Dick Cheney and Cheney associates personal and financial gain from the contracts Halliburton gained after invading Iraq are just as repugnant, if not more so, than any self enrichment Trump has made. We literally invaded an entire country and started a war so an energy company could gain control of lucrative business contracts around oil.

How dare he!?  Teleprompters!  Biden can't even read at his advanced stage of mental deficiency.

I think there was also a part of Bush who wanted to finish what his father didn't finish in regards to Hussein.

What strikes me is how Trump's approval rating is locked in. After Katrina, it was a slow and steady decline for Bush.

Sorry for all the Churchill comparisons but that is just so insane.  The personal courage, energy and creativity of Churchill is simply off the charts.   The man had a lot of flaws...(A LOT) but he led people and inspired them to action.  I subscribe strongly to the historical school that he prevented a dark age by standing in the breach.  Meanwhile, Trump is a c-grade Mussolini working on behalf of the Hitler currently running the show in Moscow.  Trump would rather sate his base urges and vanities than do anything that resembled work or appeared dangerous.

Now this is very interesting.

If Trump downplayed the virus because he didn't want to cause panic and now that the cat is out of the bag, why did he just have a rally with no facemasks?
