I think by and large if/when that happens the bureaucracy will ignore him. He will probably try to ram through a lot of bad judges and pardons, but he'd probably do that win or lose.

that's the moment when suddenly the GOP gets religion again...

my worry would be the transition.  how cooperative would he be?   The last time an incumbent lost was HW Bush and as expected he was as gracious as possible.

LOL - how much will it matter? His replacement is going to have rebuild everything basically from scratch. Trump's WH is so dysfunctional there is no function to transition. I mean, is Ivanka going to show the next domestic policy advisor how she co-ordinates her blouses and skirts?

I hope they literally have to drag his fat *** out of the office. I want to see how many able bodied people it takes to carry that heifer.

what I am seriously worried about is what happens if Trump's egomania is somehow pierced deeply enough that he begins to believe he is going to lose in November. I really don't think there is any kind scheme, no matter what kind of disaster it could cause, that he might not undertake to try to move the election back into his favor.

The safest place for America to be is with Trump still  thinking he's winning while he's losing.

I don't think he'll actually do anything crazy.  He'll lie and bluff and bully people, but fortunately he has no balls

I could see him quitting on November 10th..... "screw it.... I'm gone...."

That would be in his best interest. Pence could then pardon him. Can a president pardon someone against future litigation?

No.

he could pardon for things found in the Mueller Report though.... but he can't pardon him from the state of NY.

And acceptance of a pardon is an admission of guilt

When you get your cum laude degree from the Wharton school of business and run a multibillion dollar enterprise like she did, let me know.

A former aide to Joe Biden is accusing the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee of sexually assaulting her during the early 1990s when he was a senator. Biden’s campaign denies the charges.

In two recent interviews with The Associated Press, Tara Reade alleged the assault occurred in the basement of a Capitol Hill office building in the spring of 1993. She filed a police report in Washington on Thursday saying she was the victim of a sexual assault by an unnamed person in 1993, a copy of which was obtained by the AP.

Are these the same betting markets that spent the bulk of the Democratic Primary favoring either Bernie Sanders or Liz Warren to win the Democratic Nomination?

Polls are meaningless.  The election is in November.  But there is betting site that favors Trump, so I'll go with that.

oh man

interesting concept and the directional trend is the point here. Still, I'm still not sure how much value there is in any projection that shows FLA and TX as more likely going blue than MI and MN.
