I hope someone vets this and pushes to get a response out of Fedex or UPS as this absolutely did not happen.

Its "girlfriend in Canada" levels of excuses.

Purdue looked like he needed a ten minute timeout to relieve himself

Perdue seems a lot like Ernst in that he seems to be struggling as a campaigner in this kind of political environment (with the wind in his face)

Probably a lot of Iowa residents there... Would be like Whitmer going to a Biden rally in Toledo.

Yeah, Omaha is a big media market for SW Iowa. Makes sense for her to be there IMO

If it’s a copy can’t they just send another copy to wherever they are sending it? These conspiracies get dumber and dumber.

Make a copy!? You can't make a copy of important documents!. (thinking of the Geico "Bad Decisions" commercial where the kids in the horror movie run into the barn with the chainsaws.....)    xD

Maybe he should have just stood there and cackled like McConnell

Rome, Georgia....

What’s wrong with visiting Rome, Georgia? I fully admit to being ignorant of many things regarding the south.

I'm sure it's a nice place.... more just surprising that he's having to make a base play in Georgia one day before the election.

The airport is in Iowa. Evidently the Missouri shifted at some point after the border was drawn.

Edit: Well, no, but there is a small area of Iowa nearby on the west side of the Missouri.

I think it's less about media market spill—only 18% of the Omaha DMA falls into Missouri, and only 6% of Iowa falls within the Omaha DMA—and more about basking in the media glow in the wake of Trump.

Has anyone asked Tucker Carlson?

From the story

Quote

He said the hackers manipulated invoices from four vendors who were being paid to send out direct mail for Trump’s reelection efforts and to provide pro-Trump material such as hats that could be handed out to supporters. Invoices and other documents were altered so when the party paid them, the money went to the hackers instead of the vendors, Hitt said.

The hack was discovered after someone noticed that an invoice was generated that should not have been, he said.

Hitt said it appears the attack began as a phishing attempt. It does not appear that any data was stolen, said party spokesman Alec Zimmerman.

The money was stolen from the state party’s federal account, which currently contains about $1.1 million, but that number fluctuates daily because of quick moving resources late in the campaign, Zimmerman said.

It's not untrue.  One is much worse than the other but Biden is not exactly inspiring.

I didn't even need to click on the article to know Nolan Finley had a hand in it.

The Devil went down to Georgia.
He was lookin' for an election to steal.
He was in a bind 'cause he was way behind.
He was willing to make a deal

They didn't endorse anyone in 2004 either... but that's because they thought Dubya wasn't conservative enough fiscally.

I thinks the News made a great move putting their Op-Ed page behind the pay-wall. It's that much less cyber-offal on the open web where people might run into it.    :ponder:
