I'd need an extra bag of peanuts before I could agree to that.

Silver said he wants the NBA to receive 2% of legalized gambling profits. If they were getting that from my book I could fund your peanuts and more with what I'm about to lose.

Do the Pistons have to pack empty seats or will there be some provided?

They play Dallas on December 12th.  Spurs-Suns play on the 14th.  Odd teams to send since this is sort of a showcase.  You would figure they would send good teams.

The Pistons could probably win the Mexican League so they sorta are a good team down there.

KD will be a good litmus test for your organization.  If your team does max him this summer, find a new team.

Easy choice.  A new deal for him will start at around $33M next year.

This doesn't necessarily mean he is leaving Boston.  But, he's leaving Boston.

Here is what a first year salary will look like for each max pay bracket.  This assumes the $109M salary cap projection is correct.

25% $27,250,000
30% $32,700,000
35% $38,150,000

I still like to think Brooklyn is smart enough not to do that.

I don't really watch these shows.  But the clips I saw of Pierce were terrible.  And who can forget how bad Billups is at player comparisons or his possible racism.

Good. They're awful. All the ESPN NBA coverage is awful outside of Jeff Van Gundy. All the talent is on TNT, they're all top notch.

And Golden State can apply for a disable players exception for KD, not sure about Klay.  But any money they use from that will cost them over 5x the contract value because they are in the luxury tax.  So a $10M contract will come with a $50M tax bill.  So no way they would use it.
