4/11 @1:10 Cleveland Indians vs Detroit Tigers

Recommended Posts

I’m going to miss these 1:10 start times. Perfect way to pass the afternoon.

A series win please.

If we keep winning the series I think we will make the playoffs

At least beat up on Cleveland so we can win the tiebreaker.

Cleveland sucks.

Mahtook was just DFA'd for Jacoby.

Not a shock to anyone here I suppose, I feel bad for the kid but it seems like the right move.

Disrespected Adduci.  You see what happens, Larry?

Cleveland sucks.

Cleveland has treated the Tigers like a jail cell punk for the last three seasons, going 13-6 against them twice and 14-4 against them once. If memory serves me right, the Tigers have had to go deeply into the end of the season before figuring out how to fight off the Indians these last three years. It’s good to see them grab the machete and get to the root of it so early this year. Without the Tigers rolling over and acting like they’re asleep the Indians would never have appeared as successful as they have been these last few seasons.

Hitting the road for Toledo?  Glad to see he's finally hitting something.

I previously look up why a rubber match is called a rubber match, but I forget why, and now I don't care.

Just win.  Win all of the games is asking too much.  But win all of the rubber matches seems much more reasonable.

I think someone mentioned this earlier, but the Mariners have hit 34 homeruns........and the Tigers have scored 33 total runs.  That is just plain crazy.

They're wasting all their power early, our fellas are keeping their powder dry for when it's needed later in the year.   It's all GardyBall Strategery.

Say what you will but I suspect Leyland and DD would have continued to trot out Mikie even longer in an attempt to "get him going"

I take your point, although in actuality, Mikie would not have even been on a Leyland and DD team. Those teams were playoff contenders. No way Mikie Mahtook shows up on a playoff contender.

The only other big league team he has a ghost of a chance to play for is the Marlins.
