This is one beautiful swing. Amazingly effortless for a guy that is so far from a Cabrera type body mass range.

Thought same, re: swing. Beautiful.

Jack Kenley also homered.  I'm high on Kenley, he has a nice beard so he's pretty gritty.  They need to move both up to Conn. asap, with Kenley a possibility for WMI.  Kenley reminds me of Jason Kipnis when he came up with the Indians.

I was going to suggest Pedroia.  I’ll take either.

Faedo with a good outing taking over a game that had been suspended in Apr. 5.2 IP, 5H, 2ER, 1BB, 4K. Azocar and Schwindel with a couple of hits each but Erie falls 2-1.  Shore going in the regularly scheduled game following. Has already given up his run for the 1st inning.

Funny thing I looked at the box just after the game picked up in the bottom of the 1st tonight, saw all the substitutions and wondered if there had been a brawl during the inning break - box didn't say it was a completion of a suspension.  🙄.....

F...ING leave him alone. Lloyd is a loser. What has he ever won?

Jack wears a beard, because he looks really bad without a beard.

Well, there you go! Little Lloyd was a winner.

Jimmy Kerr with another clutch hr in finals. Best 33rd round pick ever.  Btw, UM's Tommy Henry reminds me of Drew Smyly. I think he's terrific.

How does a fan know whether someone is a good hitting coach or not?

Erie gets 2 hit (3-0 loss) in the regularly scheduled end of the what was effectively a complete double header. Logan Shore give up "only" 3 runs in 6 ip. One of his better efforts so far.

Hens losing, gave up 11.  Carpenter got hammered but Hens do some hitting of their own: Rogers goes 3/5 HR, Peterson 3/5, Candelario 2x2b and BB, Castro 1/4, BB, Woodrow 3/5.  EDIT: final 11-6

Poor guy.  No where to go but down.

If he's looking to go down, he's in the right organization.

The same way they know how hard a player is trying or how much a player cares.

Just listen to the right message board jockeys, and you'll find out.

His confidence must be down, as competitive as he is.

He told me that he's still feeling good.

As a loser I'm an expert in losing, and the Detroit Tigers? Losingest losers I've ever seen. Why if I weren't such a loser myself, I'd really let them have it. More like Losingdary Lloyd

I've yet to meet a likeable person named Lloyd...Since I know nothing about MLB coaching, that is the basis for my anti-Lloydism.

Mr. Bigglesworth.  Winning since '73.

Lloyd should have taken the same train out of town that Lamont did.

Fenech released his top 15 prospect list:

Quote

3. RHP Franklin Perez

Age: 21

Acquired: 2017, from Astros; Minors experience: 4 years

2019 start: Class A Lakeland

Projected arrival: 2020

Scout’s take: "I like Perez, he's got an impressive package. ... Injury-prone and I kind of question his mental toughness: hangnails keep him out. He's always got something. It's a concern. ... Terrific physical ability, I think he could surprise with his ceiling."
