With him and Norris both throwing harder I'm thinking maybe it's not all the organization's fault they lost it. Careful. tigerbomb13 620 Posted April 8 Didn’t see this posted, but Burrows had a nice line as well last night. He did throw 80 pitches in four innings though. 4 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 7 K
kdog 261 Posted April 8 sportz was angry that they are playing Paredes at the same position as Candelario(3B) and not moving him to 2b yet.

I like Jeimer, but I wouldn't try to argue the jury isn't still out on his bat.

RatkoVarda 326 Posted April 8 Fangraphs Derek Hill, CF, Detroit Tigers Level: Double-A Age: 23 Org Rank: 22 FV: 40 Line: 3-for-5, 2B, HR Notes We’ve been all over the place on Hill because for a time, we thought he had made relevant swing changes that might enable him to hit for enough power to profile every day. After last year, that 2017 blip of production seemed like noise, and we again considered Hill a glove-first bench outfield prospect. If his first three games — 8-for-15, three extra-base hits — are a sign of things to come in 2019 then we’ll have to reconsider once again. We think the appropriate time to do this is about 50 balls in, or after about a month’s worth of games. Hill has clearly been passed by Daz Cameron in the eyes of the org (Daz is younger and at Triple-A), so even if he legitimately improves, it may be hard for him to find playing time with Detroit. Lei Pong 155 Posted April 8 Comerica Park is he most spacious park this side of Yellowstone. If Hill and Daz can both hit MLB pitching, there's room for two plus gloves in the OF. Been a Tigers fan for decades...people were thrilled about the potential staff in the late 70's/early 80's...guys like Morris, Petry, Rozema, Mike Chris, Pat Underwood, Bruce Robbins etc... I think this group we have now rivals that group. It's also telling that of thoser names, only two became key members of a Championship ball club. Pitchers...so fragile and mercurial

If a guy can hit and field, they will find a spot for him.

It's crazy how few they've had in the last 19 years. Hill and Daz profile very well for this park.
