Here's something else improbable about him: my 1975 Tigers yearbook says that he was a former Big 10 champion in the 100 yard dash.  I doubt 'er eh?  He always looked a bit like Jethro Bodeen.

Please tell me Turnbull goes north with the team.

In no particular order, does Zimmermann, Boyd, Moore, Turnbull, and Norris sound about right to this point? Norris is on the bubble I guess.

Yeah, thought about him later. He’s definitely up there. He and Norris may be up for the fifth spot. As of today, he may be ahead of Norris, bullpen considerations aside.

I guess one theory is that since they have fewer open dates early than usual, they will keep Norris for long relief, maybe send him down to Toledo to keep starting after the rest of starting staff gets more fully stretched out. I like Norris, but objectively, if I am sitting in Avila's seat, I'm going to use Norris' last option to give Moore and Ross every chance to succeed because I'm hoping to be able to move them for something later.

The 8 games in a row does create a need for more bullpen arms, but farmer is just as capable of eating some bullpen innings as Norris.

Miggy with an RBI double then Candy rips a 2 run homer.  I like it.

And now a Cabrera home run pulled to left field and another candelario homer.

The astros are going to suck this year.

We might have something with that Cabrera kid.

Where have they been hiding him?

Yeah, I’m thinking he goes north with the club this year.

They just didn't want to start his arbitration clock, but he's forcing the issue.

I was going to make a snarky comment wondering if Miggsinglio would ever hit another homerun. But he already had. I’m a jerk.

Just so pretty.  Been so long since I seen this I forgot how good it looks.

radar read the pitch at 96. Pulling the fast ball is the last piece to see with Cabrera.

Yep, by "been so long" I was specifically talking about him pulling pitches for power.   I don't think I have seen him hit a HR to the pull field since atleast 2017, maybe even longer.  The fact that it was 96 makes it that much nicer to see.

How many bowls of cereal you had this morning, Jethro?

One

Just one?

Yeah, but I filled it five times.
