Game 67: Pistons @ Heat

Recommended Posts

Another team overplaying everything and we look lost again. This is playoff defense and intensity. Have to find a way to beat it.

Offense is too predictable and plodding in the half court with nobody that can create off the dribble. Easy to just turn up the defensive intensity and disrupt it. Getting a playoff preview these last two games.

The starters are getting killed every game recently. I will make a prediction that they miss the playoffs entirely if this continues, can't win games against decent to good teams relying almost entirely on the bench.

Defense and offense both looking pretty bad. Let Miami shoot 66 percent and 16 paint points in the 1st. Looked totally disrupted on offense by Miami’s aggressive overplaying defense and only scored 18 total.

Even struggling to get the ball to half court now against this defense.

We all knew the hot shooting wouldn’t last. But this time has crashed landed back to earth.

This is the most inconsistent of inconsistent teams.

The Pistons have scored 105 points in the last 66 minutes of play.

Unsustainable 3 point shooting was keeping them afloat, this is simply regression to the mean.

That's not the main concern though. They can't defend and the starters are getting shredded, this can't continue if they want to make the playoffs.

Going up weakly is never enough for Dre. He likes to get the rebound and do it over again just as weakly.

This just in, Winslow was the right pick. Somewhere SVG is still the only person on the planet who doesn’t realize it.

Exactly.  I said the same thing after the Brooklyn game and people said I was overreacting to one game.  It is not just one game.  This has been a common theme during our winning streak.  The starters always get us off to slow starts and the defense has been atrocious at times the last month.

Andre with 4.  Not good.

Starters once again losing ground.  And the Pistons defense is getting shredded.  Same old, same old.

Get Galloway and Kennard in there to give us a chance.

The Pistons have gotten blown off the floor yet again coming out of the locker room. It happened to start the Minnesota game. To start the Chicago game. The entire Brooklyn game. And to start each half tonight.
