Game 50: Mavericks @ Pistons

Recommended Posts

7:10 tip.

Heard it is frigid in Detroit. Nice and warm in Florida.

Mavs played last night and bombed the Knicks at MSG.

Good night for the Pistons.

Miami bombed at home by the Bulls, who were on the end of a back to back.

Hornets bombed in Boston despite Kyrie not playing.

Washington lost in Cleveland the other night. Orlando lost to OKC

Pistons 2 games behind Charlotte with a win.

Mavs are 5-20 on the road.

Bullock is questionable. Ish remains out.

I still don't think the goal should be the #8 seed.  I would prefer a longer range target.  I'll take another postseasonless year if it gets this team closer to some semblance of longer term success.

And I don't buy Griffin's contract as a window that they can successfully maneuver.  I hope I'm wrong.  I would like to be wrong.  But I just don't see this team being capable of making the right moves to make it happen.

Me either, but it’s the bed they’ve made for themselves. If they didn’t trade for Griffin, they could sell off Harris and Bullock at this deadline for picks.

You guys are going to look silly when Durant, Kawhi, and Kyrie sign here this summer for the vet minimum.

So Dallas will be without DSJ, Matthews, and DAJ.

Doncic is questionable. Maybe with this trade he plays

I’d offer Wes Matthews once he gets bought out.

But that would put us over the luxury tax.

Thanks, SVG. Get that bum off ESPN. Dude ran our franchise into the ground. Joe D did a lot of bad but at least the cap situation wasn’t a cluster when he left.

A reminder that the Pistons are paying SVG $7 million this season.

Next year he’s about the only thing off the books.

Continuing to play Calderon and Johnson is downright inexcusable. These guys are absolute GARBAGE. Why do we continue to throw them out there? It’s ******* ridiculous.

The Pistons are down by 13 points at home to a team down 4 starters and played last night.

Please make trades.

Absolutely disgusting half of basketball. Pistons down 4 and totally outplayed by a G League team.

Absolute GARBAGE.

It has to be brought up.

Davis and Porzingis just forced themselves out of **** hole situations. If the Pistons don’t improve the roster, it isn’t very far fetched to see Griffin do the same thing.

Forcing Gores hand would be doing us a favor.
