Game 49: Bucks @ Pistons

Recommended Posts

7:10 tip. Bucks lost to OKC their last game. They haven’t lost consecutive games all season.

You just know they are quaking in their shoes about the prospect of losing this little streak.

Bullock with a left ankle sprain. He and Ish are out.

Yikes. This is going to be a blowout.

Would you trade Bullock and Ish for Fultz?

Without a doubt.  Then trade Blake and start the rebuild.

Lots of Stanley Johnson tonight.

20 point loss.

There's no way the Bucks beat the Pistons by only 20.

If/when the Pistons tank this homestand, I wonder if this will push Stefanski to sell. I know they don't have any assets to sell but they can't just let the trade deadline pass without doing anything with this dead end team.  Something/anything would suffice. This is some of the worst Pistons basketball that I've ever witnessed.

I'm kind of hoping that Blake follows Davis and requests a trade, if that's what it'll take to wake these guys up out of the delusion that this situation could work.

the only chance the pistons "tank" is if blake and andre have season ending injuries.

even if blake is out for the year they will still try to add and make the playoffs with andre.

nothing in their history indicates that they will intentionally tank.

I don't know if that was directed at me, but I didn't say anything about tanking.  What I meant about "tanking" the homestand is losing games which I expect them to do.

I’ve never seen a professional team struggle to make open shots like this one.

It’s truly special. You’re going to miss the playoffs because you can’t make wide open jump shots. At the professional level.

Pistons tie the game. Stanley takes the ball into the paint and gets rejected by Giannis before he even jumped in the air. Just stood and blocked his shot.

Immediate Bucks 7-0 run ensues.

There is nothing like an ill-advised Stanley Johnson offensive play to kill a run.

Vintage. Classic. And oh so predictable.

i was talking about your hope that stefanski will sell.  he wont.

but i understand the sentiment.  not taking a shot at you or anything.

More low IQ “Piston” plays

Down 6, Drummond wild drive and hook. Bucks get the board, come down, triple.

Down 9. Stanley overplays Giannis 45 feet from the rim, he goes back door, drives, defense collapses, triple.

So elementary. And oh so predictable. Losing players make losing plays.

Amazing what can happen when you make shots. What a concept. I didn’t think you could make shots like Milwaukee does watching this garbage *** Piston team
