That projection is too safe and easy.  How about a couple of surprises?

So.........You guys all predicting that Castellanos will be traded?

Everybody except Bert I guess.

I’m pretty sure I included nick in my post.

I’d love for him to be traded but it’s not going to happen.

I might predict he gets traded in the bold predictions thread

Yeah....sorry there Shelton.  I missed it because you couldn't spell Castellanos.    :)   But hey, Nick works. I guess I can't read.

3b Mike Moustakas

cf Adam Jones

c Grayson Greiner

2b Niko Goodrum

according to my old "black hole" theory, a line-up can't tolerate more than 2 really bad hitters and still be reasonably productive in the AL, The Tigers are already guaranteed one at short and one at catcher and that is assuming everything else goes well (Miguel is healthy and Nick is not traded - for this argument at least, not trading Nick is a positive). Realistically, odds are they are  going to have 4 or 5 bad hitters in the lineup so you could sign Harper and Machado and still have a lousy offense.

Is it safe to assume that you don't think Mercer will earn a statue here?

I know - hard to fathom, but I can't shake that little bit of gnawing doubt.

xD

And the black holes need to be like Mark Belanger and Rick Dempsey defensively.
