Seems like the perfect year for the Lions to get their new QB.

A perfect year when all the college QBs suck?

That seems like the primary requirement for being a Lion.

Yeah and our records are tied now. The Lions have a shot at a top 10 pick though. Any punters we want them to take?

I think the patriots have a better record.

Green Bay just fired their head coach. A possible replacement for Jim Bob?

The one conclusion from the season that seems beyond debate would appear to be that Patricia has neither enough competence at NFL offense nor enough competence in the evaluation of the work of offensive players or of an offensive coordinator to remain an NFL head coach for very long.

?

Cooter was thought highly of before this year, if he makes a change and they go 10-6 next year then what? I think you're being a bit premature with your statement.

I'm proud of Matt Stafford's effort today. Stepping up and ensuring the loss to protect the Lions' draft position was clutch! Seriously, nothing good would have come from beating the Rams today. They just need to stay the course and run the table the rest of the way to a 4-12 record.

Before this year Cooter was working for a head coach with years of his own offensive football credentials. Stafford has his limitations but I have a really hard time believing any qb at the point in his career that Stafford is just  forgets how to play the position as badly as this team looks on offense this year.

We are going to find out one day that the reason Cooter stayed is Stafford demanded it.   We are also going to find out that all the OCs that were here had to radically simplify the playbook to fit Stafford's needs.

Want to give Patricia the benefit of the doubt. But really the team just needs to wake up and know fans do not like losing and are getting sick and tired of being on a losing team.

If this is true, then the contract extension was the FO consigning the team to oblivion.

Currently we have the 5th pick.   The Buffalo game could be a big one in terms of draft standings. If we lose that there's a good chance we can get in the top 3.

They should have because they lost. Lions move up a spot in the draft. Unless we had a tie breaker against the Giants?

The Giants beat Chicago. The Lions have the same record as the Giants. New England doesn't enter this discussion.
