Recommended Posts

The Knicks have 5 former lottery picks from another team on their roster. Mudiay, Burke, Kanter, Vonleh, and Hezonja.

The Pistons swept the season series (3-0) from the Knicks last year for the first time since 04/05

By both sites I use, the Pistons have played the easiest schedule in the league so far. And it's not really close.

They have definitely benefited from an easier schedule, and I'd like to see them capitalize on that the new few games as well. Starting 12-8 through the first 20 games of the season is right about where you would want this team to be.

They have had some wins against good teams (Toronto, Houston) but have mostly beat up on mediocre/bad teams.

That's a bit skewed by the Celtics and Rockets massively underachieving. That's 4 games against 55-60 win type teams that are only .500 thus far.

If you saw Celtics, Sixers and Rockets twice along with Toronto on the road in their first 17 games before the season started, you'd think that was a fairly tough schedule even with some cupcakes thrown in there.  Very few back to backs has been the fortunate part of the schedule.

I think that's fair.  But, by the same context, I'm not surprised at splitting with Houston.

I'm not surprised to hear that. They have had it pretty easy so far. But, hey, at least they are above 500 with that schedule instead of four games below .500 or something like that.

This is another game I'll have to wait until midnight to watch. I have to go to my first prep basketball game of the season tonight.

Reggie bullock is really bad.  Is he really the best we have for the starting lineup?

Pistons dead to start this one. Brick after brick after brick on clean looks. Knicks up 6.

It’s not who you play but when you play them?

Knicks are totally outplaying the Pistons.

The thing is, Drummond will never be worth his contract.  Zero basketball IQ.

2 on Drummond. He was a total non-factor out there anyway. Free throw bricks are taking their toll on the mental midget Andre.

Kanter is killing us. Drummond looks totally disinterested tonight. Going to need Zaza to step up.

Tie game on Galloway three.

Pistons have turned up the defense. Zaza giving them great minutes. Pistons up 10.

Stanley coming off the bench playing PF, which many of us have said for years, seems to have energized him. Taking the ball to the basket instead of jacking wild shots.

Pistons up 16. They’re playing good defense, but the Knicks are missing a ton of shots so far.

Drummond 1/12 at the line the last 2 games and it’s in his head. Obviously impacting the rest of his game. He’s a total non-factor out there. Just butchered a perfect lob and missed a clean rebound for Knicks triple.

Drummond blows the dunk. He’s just totally mind-****** out there. He hasn’t scored.

Pistons up 10.
