Okay, let's be honest, this team is currently in mid bed-sh***ing stream.   The previous 3 games have been a letdown, to say the least.  This week we focused on why Matt Patricia had the team practice outside in the snow when the next four games will be indoors (Home, Home, Home, @Arizona).   I guess they had to prepare for their next possible win, December 16th in Buffalo.   The wheels have come off this Ford and it sure seems like a sideshow with the coach giving strange explanations about snow practices and admonishing a media member for slouching.  But what about the football?   Well, I can see why he doesn't want to talk about the actual games themselves.   From Allen Park we get nothing but cliches and coachspeak.  The fans are treated like we're stupid.   We keep buying tickets, so I guess we are.    The offense was supposed to be what drove this team, but they've been awful the past 3 weeks as Stafford has been having his worst season since early in his career and the play calling has been predictable and ineffective.   The offensive line was build with 2 first round draft picks,  2 high priced free agents and a 3rd round pick.   They have not justified the resources spent.    The Carolina Panthers are wearing all-black today which must mean the Lions are in all-grey . That will match the sky and the mood inside Ford Field today, but the most SOL thing ever would be the Detroit Lions walking away with a win.

I don't like that I have an added interest in this game, in that I ******* hate the Panthers and that dickhead QB they have.

If they manage to lose by less than double digits than today is a success. I don't expect that though. Honestly, with nothing left to play for this season, 3-7 won't bother me because it's one step closer to a top 10 pick and some actual defensive line help.

Of course this horrible QB is going to throw the ball at will.

Newton is terrible?

Truly amazing that, for the past 10 years, the lions have not been able to defend a TE near the goal line.

Or draft one that can catch a touchdown in the red zone.
