I get so bummed on this night.   For 3 years we had the best team in baseball and our boys didn't bring it home.

Which three years were those?

I don't care for Price, but good for the other ex-Tigers.

Happy for JD. The other former tigers can go pound sand.

Porcello is aight, I guess.

I had no issue other than the lack of Ks when he was here.

DD winning gives me no heartburn.  But maybe it is because he has that cleft in his chin.

The Red Sox just won the World Series with an inexperienced rookie manager.  Quick, dump Gardenhire and get a rookie manager again.  Gotta keep up with the market inefficiencies.

Meanwhile a 33 year old Tiger fan has seen four Red Sox, a friggin Cubs, Astros, Royals, Twins and two expansion team champions.

0 in Detroit.

I is sad.

Quit talking about me.

Cannot honestly blame DD for not winning it all with Detroit.  Because even with pissing mieces ..the Detroit Tigers should have won at least one World Championship under JL in '06, '12, '13, or under BA in '14.

There was enough talent on those teams to have gotten the job done.  As it were ..they won only 1 WS game. That is Sad.

Totally agree. A 1-8 WS record is painful.

I am not personally happy for any of them.  I don't know these guys and don't care if they win championships for other teams.  However, I do like to follow these guys after they leave the Tigers and it is fun to see them do well.  Like others, I feel very little connection to Price. I do enjoy following JD and Porcello though.

The Blue Jays just hired Charlie Montoya out of the Rays org. He managed the Durham Bulls from 2007-2014. They did well under him. He’s been with the MLB club since 2014. I believe the Jays got a winner in this guy. Dare I mention, he’s magic, he’s Puerto Rican!

Meanwhile, the Dodgers have made the playoffs in 10 of the last 15 years, and never won a World Series, losing back-to-back in the World Series.  We feel your pain.

For some weird reason I stopped caring about what happened to Porcello after he beat JV out for the Cy Young.  I still root for JD every time I see him up to bat.

I care about JV and even though he's been gone a decade Granderson but other than them two i could give a crap about any former Tiger. They're no different than any other player to me.

Oh, I knew. But I liked the fact they haven’t won the lottery.

When Adduci and Lewicki win the World Series with the Diamondbacks next year, I will care about that.  What an epic locker room celebration it's going to be.

Did you see Rick Porcello jumping into a bucket of beer naked?

Yes, you are lucky.  I don't really care how these guys celebrate, but it was a bit surprising since I have always imagined him as low key and dignified.  Stupid Red Sux corrupted him...

If it happens at home they won't be in the locker room, they will be partying out in the centerfield pool with the hottest girls Arizona has to offer.

No, I missed it.  Did he jump forward into the bucket or did he jump backward into the bucket?  Asking for a friend.

Those two guys would more likely be broadcasting a world series and not playing in one.
