If the Detroit Lions believe they are a playoff team the time is now to show it.  They've had their week off after pummeling their rival Green Bay Packers.   They are as healthy as you could ever expect this far into an NFL season and they seem to be buying in to Head Coach Matt Patricia.  Their running game is solid for the first time in Matthew Stafford's career and their defense is bad, but they find ways to get to the QB.   The NFC North isn't nearly as daunting as it first appeared.   Aaron Rodgers is walking around on one leg leading an average Packer team,  the Bears just lost here in Miami last week and are facing a re-focused Patriots team this week - and the Vikings are not really clicking just yet.  The Lions must make their move now.  Lose today, and it's time to start looking at next season.   For the Dolphins, they are a beat up team.  Their defensive line is a M*A*S*H unit and they are relying on a backup QB.   The Dolphins are coming off of a physical and emotional victory last week here in the Miami heat.  Asking a team, even one acclimated to the heat to step up two straight weeks in hot, humid weather (88 degrees expected today in Miami) is a lot to ask.  Plus, there may be a lot to the up/down theory of the NFL.   Strange to find the Lions as a road favorite with a 2-3 record, but there is no reason they shouldn't walk out of Miami with a victory today.   It's theirs for the taking.     How much money per play is Ziggy Ansah is making this year?   About $4 million?

Were you watching the London game.   He's down the whole game to the Chargers,   They score with 33 seconds left to make it LA 20, Tennessee 19.  He goes for 2  -they don't get it, but there's a penalty.   He goes for 2 again and doesn't get it.   Lose.   Tennessee is in a division where the top three teams will probably be within a game or two of each other.   Really bad decision.    THEY HAVE OVERTIME NOW !!!!!!!!

With Jacksonville being a mess (Well, Blake Bortles, mostly), it's possible that an 8-8 team wins the AFC South this year.    That's a really bad risk there.

I love when the opposing team does what you want them to. 3rd and 16, draw play.  Dolphins go 3 and out.

Lets see what the offense looks like to start.

TJ Jones immediately gets a first down though. What a throw.

Knowing we get the ball to start the 2nd half feels pretty good too.
