The Packers look OOOOOOOOOOOLD. None of their receivers can get open. They have no running back. The line still looks ok. Their defense still relies on Clay Matthews for pass rush and their secondary is 60 year old Tramon Williams and a bunch of rookies. (I still hope they come back and win this game)
kgeorge78 29 Posted September 10, 2018 I actually think the Offence will be great and Stafford will be in the MVP Conversation Hopefully the Coach cleans up the crap the lions suffer from year after year.... I think Davis has a better year and the D is not thee worst maybe 20-22 nd ish. The secondary will be bad and they will have very few sacks. 9 wins and a huge season for Stafford. Mr. Bigglesworth 3,207 Posted September 10, 2018 In part because Khalil Mack came up earlier in the thread. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-rams-and-bears-spent-big-on-non-quarterbacks-will-they-regret-it/
NYLion 193 Posted September 10, 2018 The Bears won't regret the Mack trade, would have done that deal in an instant if I was the Lions, but making that trade without a QB in place might prove to be a fatal mistake. If they realize in the next few seasons that Trubisky isn't the answer, they don't have the draft picks to rectify that mistake. Their error was not only passing on Watson and Mahomes but giving up a kings ransom to take a moderate upside guy like Trubisky. He could be a solid QB in the right system but I just don't see the big upside.
