My view is that if a bowl game isn’t important enough to some of your seniors to play in, maybe you shouldn’t bother playing in it. Seems like that’s the attitude this Michigan team has brought to this game. Not many of them seem to be bothering.

Same plays keep killing them over and over. I guess lessons have not been learned.

I've come to the conclusion that Brown can't/won't coach to his personnel, and right now he doesn't have the personnel to play his scheme. This coaching staff has been very disappointing on both sides of the ball this season. Anyone can win playing teams that can't match up with you, it's up to coaching to give players an edge against equal talent and M has hardly been competitive going against equal talent.

What a stupid stupid throw!

Fire Harbaugh now!

I've had way more than enough "runs" up the middle for a yard, and all of his and his offensive coordinator's other idiocies.  Like the third-down throws short of the first-down marker.  And the decision-making today has been abysmal.  Like not using a quarterback sneak on fourth and inches.  Like letting the clock run at the end of the first half when there was plenty of time to get closer or even into the end zone, and settling for a 50+ yard field goal attempt.  At this point, I'd take Rich Rod back.  Or Brian Ellerbe.

And yes, that throw was outrageously stupid.  Patterson is an upgrade from the castoff quarterbacks that we've suffered with over the last couple of years, but that isn't saying much.

And the "Don Brown is a defensive genius" bit has been exposed for the bull**** that it is.

Patterson's strength is reading and reacting and throwing on the run - they should have him in as many option situations as possible, and they they have just gone completely away from that in the second half of the season. I had assumed that was because once McCaffrey went down they didn't want him running, but that should not have been a consideration against OSU, or today for that matter.

and it's getting ugly now...

Harbaugh is a dropback guy, and as he has made very clear, he is way too stubborn to change no matter how ugly things are getting.

Wow this is bad. All hype no substance.

How much rope does Harbaugh get? This is a freaking joke!

Not enough for his feet to hit the ground, is what many Michigan fans are thinking right now.

the other thing that  is pure coaching is how slow they play on O. They never - ever get a D back on its heels and keep it there. In a digital age they give a D time to send film out for one hour processing between plays.

Unfortunate that most of the seniors, other than winovich, quit on their team. But quite honestly Bush, Gary et al probably didn't want anymore bad tape on them prior to the combines, and that's all Florida would have provided them. They got totally exposed against OSU and getting trounced by an SEC team wasn't going to make it any better.

The rest of the team has sadly followed suit, along with the coaches.

Put the ball in the hands of your best players, who are your receivers - what a concept. But that one is coming back....

But every time you do that, you waste an opportunity to run up the middle for a yard or less and keep the clock moving.  Your kind of thinking is why you aren't a highly paid major college football coach.  Also why you probably can't afford to dress stylishly, like having a sweatshirt tucked into Walmart khakis.

Tarik Black has those transfer eyes. These guys don’t want to be playing

Harbaugh certainly needs to trade some of his man ball preferences for a free-flowing offense....otherwise highly skilled offensive playmakers are gonna bolt.

Teams need to open things up more and treat bowl games like the exhibitions that they are.

Onside kicks, trick plays, go for it on fourth down, open up the offense. Have some fun.

A bunch of kids who recently signed Letters of Intent to play here are probably regretting that they did so.

Exposed is an understatement for these last three games. Just horrible against the pass

Brown’s schemes and coaching hid the average level of talent on the D side. It was only a matter of time until opponents with good coaches and players figured out how to exploit it.
