here's Victor to pinch-hit for Norris.  Is he really a better hitter than Norris?  Probably yes, but it's debatable.

Tigers hit two almost home runs that inning.  Both were about 5 feet foul.

Can they still pull this out?

Farmer?  Again?  Twice in one day?  Jeez Gardy, you must not have an appreciation for Tigers fans who already have ulcers.

Farmer is brutal.  He can take his beard and go find Toledo any time the Tigers want

Okay..........go hang out with Drew, Buck..............Don't care if the team is bad, there is no reason to keep pitching this bum.

But do people living in Toledo

Know that their name hasn't traveled very well?

And does anybody in Ohio

Dream of that Spanish citadel?

Here's one thing that I think is really admirable about Farmer.  He goes out there, game after game, and resolutely raises his ERA every time.  I think that some of you don't appreciate how difficult that is to do.

Errors on pitchers should count as earned runs. It’s your fault. You earned that ****.

Wow, they sent Feliz out there again, after a 22 pitch inning.  That's a surprise.

EDIT - they didn't.  Why do I believe what Gameday tells me?  I don't know.

So instead, they put in George somebody, and he does in the top of the order on 7 pitches.  Somehow that doesn't seem to be playing the game the right way.

They should get rid of ERA and just use RA.  Errors are too arbitrary.  I also think reaching first on an error should count positively towards OBP

My goodness, Freese swings at everything.  Artie has thrown him 4 strikes and 2 balls and he fouled them all off.

EDIT - and then he swings at another one out of the zone and hits it for a double.  Not our night.

EDIT 2 - the Tigers lost a challenge on the play, so I think that they have to kick off from the 20-yard line, or else give up a time out, I'm not sure.

Impressive. Bacharach and Costello, I believe.

Who hit them? (tough to find that info in the box score)
