That can't be right. Honestly, as I posted earlier, I think this schedule broke in the best way possible, given the known opponents. NE, Seattle, Car, Rams all at home is huge Edit: I don't actually think that's how the games will go. I guess I bet they drop at least 2 winnable ones, but that's what I think happens if all games go by skill/home.
Motor City Sonics 904 Posted April 21, 2018 Pre Draft MCS Power Rankings AFC 1 - Jacksonville - They are for real and that defense is sick. 2 - Pittsburgh - Ben defies time, Bell & Brown make him look young. 3 - New England - One more year until they drop off a cliff and McDaniels inherits a shell - something he deserves 4 - Kansas City - Really good, but Andy Reid can't win playoff games. They have a lot of faith in an unproven QB. 5 - LA Chargers - Their 12,000 season ticket holders will be thrilled this year 6 - Buffalo - They are closer to overtaking the AFC East than you think 7 - Oakland - The Gruden Bump will last a year or so 8 - Houston - Could be Top 5 if healthy, Bottom 5 if not 9 - Denver - Is Case Keenum for real? The Defense is 10 - Tennessee - Switching coaches with a steadily improving team was a misstep 11 - Baltimore - John Harbaugh's last stand before taking over Green Bay job when they miss the playoffs in 2018 12 - Miami - Forever mediocre 13 - Cincinnati - Marvin Lewis has pictures of someone. 14 - NY Jets - What a great team to open a season against 15 - Indianapolis - A hot mess. Gonna need a lot of Luck. Enjoy yourself Ebron 16 - Cleveland - If they have a great draft, they could shock some people and climb all the way to 14th. Baby Steps. NFC 1 - Philadelphia - They're the champs. Someone gotta knock them off their mountain 2 - LA Rams - They are going for broke (like I wish the Lions had) 3 - Minnesota - They are peaking now. Kirk is good but overpaid, way overpaid 4 - Carolina - Up and Down trend will be broken with a second straight up year. 5 - New Orleans - One last gasp for Drew Brees? 6 - San Francisco - Jimmy G has them believing. They'd better keep him healthy 7 - Green Bay - It hurts to rank them 7 because without their QB, they are about an 11 or 12 8 - Atlanta - The NFC South is so bunched up at the top 9 - Dallas - Its a big drop off from 8 to 9. Jason Garrett's last season before Nick Saban takes the job 10 - Detroit - I want them to be higher, but no idea of Matt Patricia is a genius or a goofball. Hoping for a strong draft 11 - Seattle - It's crumbling and I am enjoying it because I hate Pete Carroll 12 - Washington - Forever Medioc.............(See: Miami Dolphins) 13 - Chicago - No idea how their coach impacts them. 14 - Tampa Bay - They'll be getting hungry without enough W's to eat. 15 - Arizona - Crashing and burning but will still beat the Lions in the desert. 16 - NY Giants - At least Eli & Odell's Dirty Dancing commercial was great NFL (Walter Football's Power Rankings) 1 - Philadelphia (1) 2 - Jacksonville (19) - 19, did they see last season? 3 - LA Rams (8) 4 - Minnesota (6) 5 - Pittsburgh (12) 6 - New England (2) 7 - Carolina (7) 8 - New Orleans (5) 9 - Kansas City (3) 10 - San Francisco (11) 11 - LA Chargers (9) 12 - Atlanta (15) 13 - Buffalo (20) 14 - Oakland (13) 15 - Green Bay (10) 16 - Dallas (17) 17 - Houston (4) - Not until they can prove they can stay healthy. 18 - Denver (18) 19 - Detroit (21) 20 - Seattle (24) 21 - Tennessee (14) 22 - Baltimore (25) 23 - Miami (32) 24 - Washington (22) 25 - Chicago (16) 26 - Cincinnati (28) 27 - Tampa Bay (23) 28 - NY Jets (30) 29 - Arizona (31) 30 - Indianapolis (26) 31 - NY Giants (29) 32 - Cleveland (27) 27? No, not until they can prove something..........anything

lordstanley 632 Posted April 21, 2018 Or maybe I'm predicting that the Tigers and Wings miss the playoffs, the Pistons next year lose a 1st round series in 7 games, and the Lions earn a 1st round bye and win all 3 games en route to a Super Bowl victory. John_Brian_K 262 Posted July 11, 2018 Starting to put the schedule in my calendar and just realized we do not really have a normal schedule until a month in. Monday night, Sunday mid day, Sunday night game etc. It will be weird to start the season.
RandyMarsh 518 Posted July 11, 2018 ESPN ran an article where they asked a bunch of NFL executives to grade each team's offseason. The Lions had the 2nd worst grade just eeking out the Panthers for worst. They didn't give any particular reason why other than calling them out about the whole Patricia situation and them not doing their due diligence when hiring him. Brian 13 Posted July 16, 2018 In my opinion the Lions need to be 9-7 at the very leas. Otherwise, Quinn will have egg on his face for firing Caldwell abd bringing in his guy who he hand picked to get the Lions to the next level.

They didn't really do anything of note in free agency outside of some deck chair shuffling and the draft was pretty underwhelming although a few needs were addressed (as is the case with every team pretty much). Essentially, they are putting a lot of faith in the coaching to turn this thing around. Might not be a bad bet but on paper, it's a pretty weak roster littered with question marks especially on defense.
