From the 2004 Yearbook

Nate was an expert at pitching to contact. He wasn't concerned with missing bats in the the least.

More walks than strikeouts, honestly I'm surprised his ERA was so solid for a 5th starter. Looking at the rest of his stats I would guessed he'd have a 6+ ERA.

So, is Suckerpunchez going to wear it when its throw at him?

There's a fight brewing..............................

I'm generally not for them, but I think this is a special case scenario.

The Friday and Saturday starters, Fiers and Liriano, probably aren't the ones to do it.  Boyd goes on Sunday.  There are holdovers in the bullpen from last season.

Take a look at Judge's feet in RF if you get the chance.  His shoes are so big they would fit a clown.

The Tigers have only 2 hitters (out of 13 with at-bats this season) with an OPS above .675.  Martin at .812 and Castellanos at .760

Why is he wearing Suckerpunchez's shoes?

yeah they have a .306 slugging percentage. I know this is a bad team overall but I think that will improve. OTOH, the pitching staff is due for more implosions.

Only a .306 SLG, but that doesn't factor in the aggressive base running that has been implemented.

Much like 4-4 was the high watermark, I think we've the best season-to-date numerals for the pitching staff.

Was going to post this earlier but have been so busy today...

Can you believe today is the ninth anniversary of The Bird’s tragic passing? What a Tiger he was! I think of him on this date every year  since his passing.

He threw that sneaky pitch as a back door way to hit him.

The feud continues.
