Who Did Miguel Pass Today?

You must be busy going all over the internet finding predictions that were wrong and pointing it out to the posters.  Kudos on your work ethic.  Glad you found your calling in life!

You're right.  It took me all day to find that comment.

Honestly, if you think I thought you were serious saying he wasn't going to get to 10, I definitely didn't.  I figured you were just being dramatic in describing his season, no big deal.  I thought if the reverse psychology worked then, maybe it would work again.

I wonder how much money Miggy has made this year just on his off days(as a DH!).

Don't think about it.  It'll only **** you off.

I will tell you that it would pay for the best knee treatment availble anywhere.

GAME 144 - Should have had another spoonful of Wheaties, Miggy.

He should have been two more HRs this week.  Result doesn't really reflect the nice game today.  Not even an RBI on the robbed hit would have mattered.

Strikeouts - 1,754 (26) - Passed <Craig Biggio> at 1,753.

Miguel Cabrera is 36 years old.  His offensive productivity is currently a mere shell of his former self.  Seems to me (IMHO) that Miggy gets far more than his fair share of negativity ('nagativity'?) on various websites.

Is it likely that some of the negativity towards Miggy may stem from the enormous amount of money he gets paid?  Because otherwise, Miggy's combined stats during his ages 33 thru 36 (so far) compare favorably with several other well remembered and well liked former Tiger players since 1946.

Interesting 'fangraphs' stat lines listed below are for 15 Detroit Tiger players who played for the Tigers for all or part of their own ages 33 thru 36, ..and only their games with the Detroit Tigers during their respective ages 33 thru 36 are included even though some players also played for another team(s) during that age span.

The names of the 15 Detroit Tiger players (not in any specific order) include Miguel Cabrera, Norm Cash, Lou Whitaker, Magglio Ordonez, Al Kaline, Ivan Rodriguez, Ian Kinsler, Victor Martinez, Tony Phillips, Dave Bergman, Rusty Staub, Chet Lemon, Mike Heath, Alan Trammell, Bill Bruton.

Oh yeah .. .. .. I have deleted the names of 10 of the 15 players from the stat list.

Without looking it up .. Can you guess the unnamed players in the list below?  There is a logical order in the names of those listed that I will not divulge (see if you can figure it out.)  The only other hint I will provide is that the 3 stat lines below in bold are in the Hall of Fame.   If it helps, you may copy the list and paste it into an Excel spreadsheet ..although may need to utilize the 'paste special' feature - 'text' option.

I am still not sure if Trout is legit.  I need to see a few more years of this production.

I keed I keed...-making fun of myself here because I said that back when Trout first came out for the first 2 years or so.
