Should the Pistons sell their vets and rebuild?

What do the Pistons need to do nearing the trade deadline?

  1. 1. Should the Pistons sell Harris, Drummond and anyone not on a rookie/entry-level contract and start a total rebuild?

    • Yes, hire Hinkie and go high-lottery surfing!

    • Yes, but hire someone else

    • Yes, but keep SVG!

    • No, I think the Pistons need to get healthy, make a trade for a starter and stay patient.

    • I like our guys. Make no moves, sign Bradley and pick smart in the draft.

No matter what they do they are at least 5 years away from a championship and only one team out of 30 wins it every year and everything is pointless.

I'm down with Hinkie.

If nothing else, I would love sticking it to Silver after he forced Hinkie out.

Credit to Hinkie for accumulating draft picks, but I do not see him as a genius. His draft record is average, and drafting was the most important part of the process.

I see Hinkie as a guy who was allowed by ownership to tank in a way almost no owners would allow. I think a lot of GMs could have done what he did if they were given the opportunity.

Install Hinkie in a nice suite at LCA and have him split his duties between the Pistons and Red Wings.

There's a part to the 5th seed in the draft if they continue down this path. Reggie better not come back and screw that up

Are you kidding? Reggie comes back and Stan will be all in to recapture that 8th seed.
