2018 Playoff Race

They play in the west, and I think both guys had to make major adjustments. Blake has a lot of experience playing with a guy who is similar to Drummond. So he should be able to make it an easier transition.

Davis and Cousins both played next to bigs before. Lopez, Ajinca, and Asik all started next to Davis. Cousins had Thompson for a bit then Stein.

And Drummond is nothing like Jordan on offense. Drummond wants to be involved on offense, he wants shots, where Jordan had no desire to shoot. This is totally different than what Griffin had with Jordan.

But I agree being in the east might save them. I would probably pick them to make it with a gun to my head.

I would be stunned if they missed the playoffs now.  I would be surprised if they did not make it as at least a 6 seed at this point.

you are quite the optimist.

you think theyre better than philly now?

I'm not sure how we can evaluate this team until Reggie comes back.  The addition of Griffin helps him more than anyone else on the team IMO, and a healthy Reggie should be spitting out dimes and scoring easier on a defense that has to concentrate on Blake.

If Reggie comes back and takes the air out of the ball possession after possession, then this team isn't doing much the rest of the year even if they do make the playoffs.

Are you expecting Reggie's assists to spike?  I would be surprised by that.  Average point guards don't typically see a big uptick in assist ratios going from a bad team to a good team.  If we are talking scoring, I could maybe see that making a big jump since I would think the Pistons will rely heavily on pick and roll going forward.

I'd pick them to make to the playoffs but it has more to do with Washington and Indy then it does Philly. I think they're about even with Philly (this year...obviously Philly has the better outlook), but Philly has an even easier schedule so I'm not sure they slip out. Washington without Wall and Indy with a difficult schedule can possibly be overtaken if things gel quick enough for this new Piston team.

Losing Wall will obviously hurt, but don't sleep on Satoransky. The guy can play ball.

He won't get the double digit assist numbers that Wall gets. But he also won't post insane turnover numbers like Wall either.

We're not allowed to say nice things about Brooklyn, SF.

I think it was in the TPS Report.

Gotta like a second-rounder who can dish out the french pastry.

Washington has won 3 in a row without John Wall.  The last two wins against Oklahoma City and Toronto.

I am curious to see if Washington becomes a buyer at the deadline.

Really curious to see where Lou and Deandre wind up. Either of those two getting traded to a team battling for playoff seeding in the East could make a significant difference. Imagine Deandre on the Bucks or Lou on the Wizards.

I was just thinking Lou on the Bucks would be pretty sick.

Pacers lose. Bucks and 76ers win.

Knicks late game offense was atrocious. Why isn’t the ball going to Porzingis?
