Wasn't this Cleveland rotation s'posed to fall apart last season?  I seem to remember hearing that theory 'round these parts.

A loss today, and the Tigers will be responsible for exactly 1/3 of Cleveland's current winning streak.  The rest of MLB is responsible for the other 2/3 of it.

To show you how much Indian fans suck and do not deserve their team, they only had 24k there last night to watch them win the 20th game in a row.  Comerica would have been bulging at the seams for such an event if the Tigers were in the same position.

They're waiting for a winner.  That's what I've been told.

I don't know about that. It's not exactly the same thing, but in 2012, with the Tigers trailing in the division by 2 games and Verlander on the mound against a good A's team in mid September on a weeknight, the tigers had 29k in attendance.

You'd never know listening to Tigers radio. They were obsessed with the crowd through the first three innings. Without knowing numbers you'd swear the place was packed.

Kinda not the same scenario.

Yes, and I acknowledged that. But it's not like we have anything close to exactly the same, so that was the best I could come up with for a "big" game.

I don't think it's true that comerica would have been packed in the same situation.

Especially with our #2 Ace on the mound.

I prefer to think of it as 1 and 1A.

I think it absolutely would have. Certainly close to it.

Miggy,

We the fans of the Detroit Tigers request that you take a frigging break until you are healthy enough to hit a baseball with something like the regularity that you did during your best years.  Please do what it takes to return to a productive state and not be a boat anchor on the lineup.  We know this team is trying to tank for a draft pick in the top 3.  Your production this season is not worth it.

Cordially and with great affection,

Fans

I'm too beaten down by the losing to say that James McCann sucks.

With God as my witness I thought Buck was going to pitch his way out of that.

That lead was fun for the half inning we held it!

Makes one think of seasons gone by.

It's only lust at this point.  He is pretty hot, but I wouldn't move too fast.

From the "On the bright side" department:   Farmer struck out 3 in the 1st inning.
