Wait, What? Surgery in Pensacola? Who has surgery in Pensacola? Was it in one of them Veteran's hospitals? And who has surgery on a Monday? Someone has alot of explaining to do.

Bad news, the hurricane washed away his ulnar nerve. This season keeps getting worse

When the DH is hitting eighth, you know that your roster is in terrible shape.

Trying to keep the remainder of this season in persective. Boyd deserves a lot of credit for getting out of the jam. A tiny step toward being a better pitcher I hope.

Why is Miggy in the field? That's totally unnecessary.

We are in the era of small victories. It is good to relish them.

Boyd is being very, very gritty tonight.....

Is he not also crafty?

It's a shame the Tigers will probably lose this game tonight. At this point it is just completely winnable, and Cleveland cannot continue to win all the time,  but things could go south really fast.

I notice that the Tigers have more than a few pitchers with ERAs in the 5s and 6s.

Presley double, Cabrera coming up top of the ninth. This is where this team used to shine.

And he grounds out, and the Cleveland Indians win a major league tying 20th straight victory, before only 24,000 fans.

This is a bitter pill.  But once we get to Mordor all this suffering will turn into a different kind of suffering and it will all be worth it.

I think it's just American League. I don't know. I think I saw a graphic that showed the Cubs with 21 or something.

Baseball giants rattled off 26.

A's rattled of 20 a couple of years ago. Tonight was nice, but not record setting (well it's Cleveland's new record, but they get that with every win)

Verlander with 8 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 9 Ks and no runs.

Glad to see him with back to back good starts for Houston, but man is it a gut punch watching him dominate for someone else.
